Fromagerie Victoria Saint-Jérôme — Restaurant in Saint-Jérôme

I’ve been a customer at Fromagerie Victoria for years and have always had good experiences. The food quality, especially the poutines, is excellent, and that’s why I keep coming back—often with my family.

However, today we had an unpleasant moment upon arrival. We were a group of seven, and three of us had Starbucks coffees. While we were at the self-service ordering station, a staff member approached us and told us we couldn’t enter with outside drinks unless we first specified whether we were dining in or taking out. I understand if there are policies in place, but the way it was communicated felt abrupt and unwelcoming.

We ended up staying because we genuinely enjoy the food and spent over $200 on poutines alone, but a more courteous approach would have been appreciated—especially for loyal customers.

I hope this is taken as constructive feedback, as the food is truly great, and it would be ideal for the service to match that same...

was passing by and found this cute place along my drive to Montreal, was here on business & this was my first meal of the day after a long drive from Toronto!

the staff was friendly, I don't speak French, but the lady at that worked there did her best to help me understand, super considerate! Thank you to whoever you were!

I got the poutine of course, the cheese curds were so fresh and massive!

Fantastic place to stop off on your way to Saint Sauveur. Located in a mall, there's lots of parking and it's just off the highway. You MUST have some poutine because of their amazing squeaky cheese curds. Unless you're super hungry, a baby-size is more than enough, especially if you're having one of their delicious burgers or hotdogs. We have their Le Boucan burger, which has their smoked cheddar, bacon, tomato, and lettuce. The dining rooms are huge, bright, and clean. We always buy bags of fresh cheese curds to go, and their smoked cheese as well. There's a nice dairy bar with soft ice creams, and a little shop of...
