Allô mon Coco Saint-Jerôme — Restaurant in Saint-Jérôme

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but what we experienced at this restaurant was truly unacceptable and saddening. My family and I visited during a trip with my sister, who was visiting from Toronto. While my husband is a Quebecois and speaks fluent French, he kindly asked the waitress to speak English so my sister could follow along. Instead of accommodating this very reasonable request, the waitress refused to serve us and handed us off to another server.

We were willing to overlook that, but the second waitress completely ignored us. We waited far too long just to get water for our kids. The service was cold and dismissive throughout the meal. It felt very clear that we were being treated differently because we are Asian and spoke English.

It’s deeply disappointing to see that this kind of attitude still exists, especially in a place that welcomes tourists from all over. No one should feel unwelcome or looked down upon because of their language or ethnicity. If you’re not white, or if you speak English or another language, be aware that you might not be treated with the same respect as others here.

I hope the management takes this seriously and makes real changes. No one should feel like a second-class...

First: I Reserved 2 days prior to visit. We got a small table while the couple before us got a booth when they didn't seem to have reserved. And there were other booths seemingly available. I don't know if it was the fact that we asked to change table (for a booth) but, it was a while that we got served coffee/tea after the change. Second: I ordered the "Casserole Grilled Veggies & Creamy Goat Cheese". We can have it with mashed potatoes or in cubes so I asked for cubes. Got served with mashed potatoes .\ /. Waitress never inquired if everything is fine or...

Great place for single or family and friends events. Having decided on a late brunch, I went over and was immediately seated. They have a very nice outside terrasse.

Despite a misunderstanding on my part for the lunch menu, it was a breeze selecting something from the menu, and it was served surprisingly fast (5-7min max).

Big servings of all the orders, which was absolutely delicious.

Staff was top notch throughout the stay, and deserved the large tip for sure.
