My wife, son and I arrived during lunch (Saturday), and it took 50-55mins to receive our food (2 burgers and fries, with my sonâs child cheese burger). The restaurant only had 3 booths, 2 tables of customers (See picture), and yet the service was awful.
When the food finally arrived, that was the last time any server/waitress would come back. The server/waitress (older server with dark hair) never came to check on us, never offered to give drink refills. The only time we had the waitress come back to our table, was because we asked the hostess/table cleaner to please get our bill. The waitress literally only came back to get paid. The waitress didnât even get us forks or napkins, as We had to get those was stable near us. The waitress focused on a main table, which Iâm assuming she hoped to make larger tip on. Which is ironic, because my wife and I tip 20-30% on average.
I was a waiter/server, and bartender for 4 year, and this was the absolute worst service I have ever experienced. Even when the female waitress came to get paid, she never asked how the food tasted or anything!
I wish I had the ability to tip the Kitchen for a delicious meal, even though it was 50-55mins late. Though sadly, the waitress ruined the chances of that, because of her extremely poor service. The hostess/table cleaner was extremely polite I want to add.
Again, the service was deplorable, accept for the hostess. Even when I mentioned to the hostess that âour waitress has not come back, where is she?â, the nice hostess made a facial expression and expressed that she was sorry. If I was the Manager Iâd have a fast meeting of proper service, and treatment of customers. People survive on tips in society, and a waitress/waiter can ruin the chances of the kitchen/bartender recovering their portion of the money, when the bill is paid.
I will give this restaurant one more chance with my family, and see if this was just a rarity during a very slow meal time (Saturday lunch...
Read moreThe food felt like it was left on the counter quite a while before being served as the fries were cold. My friend ordered the beef tartare and I had the salmon one. My friend asked to have it without a poached egg, yet it still came with a poached egg. The egg was cold and rubbery, like it had been in the fridge, and the server informed us that yes, they cook their poached eggs in advance and put them in the fridge "so that it doesn't cook the beef underneath". First red flag right here.
Second mistake, the server also forgot our croutons. When we asked, we got one plate of croutons for the both of us (even though the menu mentioned it being included with each of our plates). The croutons were also tasteless, so I ended up eating my tartare without them.
As for the tartares, they were both subpar. The beef one was very loose and was a juicy mess with chunks of onions bigger than the beef.
Mine tasted okay but the salmon tasted like pre-packaged grocery store salmon, the kind you don't use for raw tartare.
Both our salads barely had any vinaigrette and didn't taste of much. The ingredients did seem fresh, however.
My friend had asked for a Mac and Cheese to go as we ordered ; server said she would order it when we get our plates, yet she never did. This ended up being a good thing, since the food really was subpar for the prize, but that was a third mistake from the server alone ; it was a Monday and the place definitely wasn't busy. No effort on her end to make sure our orders were right, every step of the way.
Finally, 24 hours later and I have severe stomach cramps and nausea. I never get stomach problems, ever, and all the food I ate today was fresh. Coincidence? Maybe, but with the low quality of the food that was served to us yesterday, this really seems fishy.
Horrible experience overall. Definitely never eating...
