I tried to order a sub sandwich by delivery yesterday evening (January 16th in between 4:30-5:30 pm) and I was DENIED SERVICE BECAUSE I SAID MY ORDER IN ENGLISH. My first language is English and I STRUGGLED TO SAY MY ORDER IN FRENCH. I was met with extreme disrespect and hostility from an employee (woman) on the other side of the phone. That same woman cut me off mid-sentence while I was trying to say my order and she SPOKE ENGLISH TO ME and HAD THE AUDACITY TO TELL ME THAT SHE COULD NOT TAKE MY ORDER BECAUSE I DID NOT SAY IT IN FRENCH! Meanwhile she spoke perfect English to me. Make it make sense!?
It was not just the denial of service but the dismissive and rude manner in which I was treated that left me feeling disrespected and devalued when all I wanted was a Sub Sandwich. To order here you have to frequently re-explain your order to the girl on the phone and manage through what they don't have right now (they seem to always be out of something) and in the end they're still gonna get the order wrong.
I figured i was gonna give this place a shot and i oprdered 5 times in the last 2 months 3 of my orders were wrong and they did not follow delivery specifications 4/5 times. They also sent 1 order to someone else entirely.
Whenever i would complain to the delivery guy that the order was wrong all 3 drivers blamed the girl on the phone for having written the details in the note section of their order bond... THAT'S WHERE IT'S SUPOSED TO BE !
So needless to say i like the food and the price but i don't mind paying 5$ extra so i get what i ordered. Sadly this place lost...
