McDonald's — Restaurant in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu

1☆ for food because: I got a Jr. Chicken, it was THEE most disgusting chicken sandwich I have ever had!! It was a gross brown color. You could tell that it wasn't even chicken. Quite frankly, I haven't seen the Jr. Chicken's look [or taste] like that in over a decade!! Does anyone else remember when McDonald's Chicken wasn't even real chicken? This was about 15 years ago. It was this sad, brown-ish colored, super thin chicken patty. Well, that's what this Jr. Chicken was. 1☆ for service because: On a completely separate trip/day to this specific McDonald's, I was told by the person taking drive-thru orders that they didn't have BBQ sauce for the nuggets ... and not that they didn't have any in stock, but that they didn't carry the BBQ sauce, period. I wasn't willing to waste any more time there to argue with them. I'm pretty sure the McDonald's BBQ sauce is one of their "staple products," and EVERY McDonald's carries them. I would also bet my life savings that there has never been a McDonald's that has ever run out of the BBQ sauce packets. 😒 (P.S. On a completely different day, I went back and ordered my s/o nuggets, WITH BBQ SAUCE, and guess what ... they 100% had it!!! Also, a bit of a side note: I know this part coming up is completely a personal opinion and also technically just a guess [because nobody would ever say it to my face, especially while working for a business], but I am strictly English, while living in Quebec. I have had quite a few bad experiences since being here ... actually, I've had more bad experiences with businessess in the last 9 months than I've had in over 30+ years. I do feel there's a bit of a prejudice towards me when I go into places. Not with everyone, but every now and again, there will always be that one person. I feel like that's what happened with the BBQ sauce incident. Also, it wasn't a miscommunication due to the language barrier. The person spoke English perfectly fine). Anyways, lastly on the list .... 1 ☆ for atmosphere because: So I can't actually comment on the inside because I haven't actually gone into this specific location. But the parking is not the best, getting in and out of the parking lot is not the best. Although I do appreciate the proper stop light for coming out of this location, with the "Exit" being on a bit of a hill, when the weather is bad, it could make for a very inconvenient accident. So I would just beware after a big blizzard/snow storm/any freezing rain conditions. 🙂🙃 Also, I have witnessed MANY people run that red light going twice the speed limit. So I would just always be super cautious coming out from that...

Waited 30 min for small coffee, got a big rock in my fries, they always forget to put almost the half of my order. The burgers have WAY too much salt and acid, the floors are very dirty, they name "crispy" food that is not crispy at all. The customer service is very rude, lying straight to your face that their machines aren't working but I literally see other employees using that machine, they literally don't care about you waiting for your coffee more than 30 minutes. I also got sick because of their buffallo poutine, it was roaten and had spoiled ingredients in it. I can surely say that it's the worst McDonald's I had ever visited in my life. If I could put 0 stars I would, but I have no other option than putting 1 star. Never...

Don’t go to the drive through, for sure there is going to be a mistake. Don’t go inside, the cashier is probably going to be high and rude, your order’s going to be wrong and the food is going to be cold. Don’t order burritos, it seems that they are not taught properly how to use a microwave and they won’t tell you if they are out of salsa. Don’t order a McMuffin, they won’t tell you if they are out of hash brown potatoes and they aren’t taught the difference between sausage, Canadian bacon, or a plain one. Don’t ask to talk to the manager, she’ll call you a liar if you complain about the lack of an item in your order or the fact that it’s cold. Don’t sit at their table, it’s dirty 90% of the time... just......
