We stayed at the Delta Hotel St.John so we ate breakfast there almost everyday. We had the buffet twice but the second time was purely out of convenience, I highly recommend ordering from the menu its always hot and fresh and the chef cooks a damn good egg any way you want. Everything at the buffet unfortunately gets water logged and soggy from sitting in the warmers. (not good) The highlight though was dinner, if you are looking for delicious seafood, seafood chowder, scallops or a good variety in a menu including dessert choices this is the place to go. The food was cooked so well, and tasted amazing. We had the seafood harvest platter (shared) the chowder, sweet potato fries and dessert. It was so good (the cod was outstanding) Best bang for our money all week. I think this place may be under radar or under rated because of the restaraunts near the harbour....it is still very close... if you want amazing food go...

Dropped by on a Friday night, about two hours before closing, & surprisingly, we were the only ones there. The atmosphere was very quiet — almost too quiet for a weekend night, but it made the experience feel private and relaxed.

Service was quick and attentive. I ordered apple juice initially, but it was overly sweet — too syrupy for my taste so I had to swap it for something else. Thankfully, the staff handled it smoothly.

The food was the highlight. We had fish and chips, and jerk chicken with vegetables and rice; both were delicious. Portions were solid.

The bathroom was neat and well-maintained — always a plus in this city.

Overall, it was a good night out. Great food and quick service. With better drink options and a bit more energy in the atmosphere, this place could easily be a...

The waiter there didn’t get his name but he’s new and came from Pizza Delight; he was soooo attentive, polite and friendly! He knew his stuff as if he’s been working there a long time! So I will say superb waiter!!! The food this time was 3 out of 5! The 4 is for service.

My carbonara was good but I felt there was just too much bacon bits, you can’t see it from the image as it just looks sprinkled on top but it was actually ALL throughout. Some people might like that, I just felt like it took away from the seafood. The poutine’s gravy was quite thick this time versus last and the burger would’ve been a little better if it was juicier. Tad over cooked. Overall not a bad second trip here but some more attention from the chef/cooks would benefit this...
