I recently visited O'Leary's Irish Pub in St. John, New Brunswick, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere, which was complemented perfectly by the charming decor and traditional Irish music playing in the background. However, what really stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by bartender Dave.
Dave was an absolute pleasure to be around, and his enthusiasm for his job was evident from the get-go. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making great recommendations and always ensuring that my drink was topped up. Dave's attention to detail was also impressive, as he took the time to remember my name and my preferred drink, making me feel like a valued customer.
The drinks themselves were expertly crafted, and I could tell that Dave had a real passion for mixology. I tried several different cocktails, each of which was delicious and expertly balanced. The beer selection was also impressive, with plenty of local and international brews to choose from.
Overall, I would highly recommend O'Leary's Irish Pub to anyone visiting St. John. The atmosphere, drinks, and food were all fantastic, but it was Dave's excellent service that really set this place apart. His passion and expertise made my visit truly memorable, and I can't wait to return on my next trip to New Brunswick. Five...
Read moreHad a great time! Watched an outdoor concert outside O'Learys after memorial cup game and came inside when it was over to catch end of Stanley cup game on tv. Large old building with a club on one side with local duo performing, place was jammed. Other side little more quiet with table & chairs to sit and chat with another room with lazy boy and couch to sit relax and watch game. We went to quiet side to watch game. We met the owner who realized we were there to see game & not go to club and took us to to tv. He took time to chat with us several times and show his hospitality. He was a big sponsor & booster of the Seadogs hockey team. We felt as welcomed as the ex seadog players, who came in after us. As they came in, some with their girl friends, they all immediately went to the owner and his wife, hugged and talked and revelled. It was so comforting to be included and welcomed. Love the charm and the down home...
Read moreThis was a stop on a cruise for us. The atmosphere is very inviting. This is an Irish themed establishment. They had a gentleman that was singing Irish tunes, and they also have shirts with Irish sayings. The space inside is deceptive when looking at the entrance. They have an upstairs room, a hall that leads into another room that is fairly large. The staff was friendly, and we did not wait long for service. I did not have a chance to eat, so I am unable to review the food. I would still visit again due to 5he atmosphere and...
