Peppers Pub — Restaurant in Saint John

On a recommendation I went to this stylish bar restaurant joint.

First impressions were amazing; lots of wood and brick under the low lighting, friendly greeting and good music playing in the background.

After looking at the bar for a minute, the bartender gave me a taste of one of the local beers and talked about the others with helpful knowledge.

After admiring the menus (yes, plural), I decided to eat some of the Thai food they had available and wasn't disappointed. The portion of vegetable Thai Green Curry was huge, with various different, well thought out, locally sourced ingredients that were cooked to perfection. A Thai green curry is supposed to be one of the hottest curries from the cuisine and they stuck to the tradition! I was not disappointed, and the rice was well cooked.

Live music done well in the corner of the restaurant and friendly staff really topped off the experience....

This is a really busy place all week long. Friday's and Saturday nights are usually the most busy here. This also is located in the heart of the city and right next to two major hotels and also where all the cruise ships with tourist destination is for. That being said this attractive restaurant is very popular among not only the tourism industry but as well as many locals. Peppers Pub is a very classy place with outdoor seating and they offer impeccable service. I highly recommend Peppers Pub for anyone who wants to get out and eat or drink and as I said the service is extremely excellent and the staff are very friendly and right there to accommodate you with the best service and your best interest in mind. Horrible place all staff are very rude I had a bad experience gf and I went to chill with friends showed up on the patio and sat with friends then went to get drinks but the meat head bouncers would not let us in so we sat back down with friends then a friend of a friend went and talked to the meat head bouncers he came back like 5 mins later and said its all good now you can go in so we did got drinks then tried to go back to the patio to chill with our friends but then the meat head bouncers would not let us back out on the patio with our drinks so we downed them went out to smoke on the heated patio witch was horrible cuz it was summer time and the heated patio was on it reminded me of...
