Pita Pit — Restaurant in Saint John

The food was absolutely delicious, which is really just a shame because I'll never return to this franchise. The customer service was atrocious.

I came here for dinner on September 3rd and asked for a rice bowl. The brunette employee informed me that they "didn't have enough rice" without asking what size. I asked when they might have more and was told "were closing soon." You closed at 7 that day, so there was at least an hour left for store operation. I ordered a salad.

Two more customers were turned away upon learning there was no rice available for them either. Finally someone asked the blonde employee for a small rice bowl and she served them. The brunette employee was furious with her and stormed into the back. Presumably to make more rice? This led me to assume the last serving of rice was reserved for the brunettes' own meal.

Then the brunette completely smashed my partners burrito and mumbled "whatever" before unceremoniously plopping it on the counter.

Just an absolutely horrible working environment, I felt bad for the blonde because I assume the brunette will give her hell for making the mistake of serving...

I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received at this Pita Pit location. On two separate visits, the female employee was disrespectful and dismissive towards me due to my deafness. She refused to communicate with me directly, instead focusing on my girlfriend.

To make matters worse, when I returned to the store at 8 pm to place an order, the same employee told me that they couldn't accommodate my request for a toasted pita, citing that it was almost closing time (8:30 pm). I found this excuse to be unacceptable, especially since the store doesn't close until 9 pm.

The employee's attitude and behavior were unprofessional and unwelcoming. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of my abilities. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of my expectations.

In my opinion, the employee's behavior was so unacceptable that I believe she should be fired. No customer deserves to be treated with such disrespect and disdain. I hope the management takes my complaint seriously and takes immediate action to...

Fast food can be kind of an unfortunate necessity sometimes. You know, like when you're just too busy and you have to hold your nose and buy a greasy burger because the alternative is eating nothing? Yeah, not fun. Good thing there's Pita Pit, where you can agonize over what healthy ingredients you can squeeze into your frankenpita while everyone in line behind you curses you under their breath, then just end up filling it with cheese and hummus anyway! I don't know about you, but I feel a whole lot less guilt when I get my fast food here. Anyway, Pita Pit is highly recommended for health conscious folks in a hurry. It's much better than other fast food places, and they have a huge variety of fresh ingredients. -1 star for the slow people in the line in...
