Absolutely terrible experience at this Sushi Shop location—again. I came in today at 11:30 AM and ordered the Volcano Poké, something I’ve been getting for years. The chef working at that time consistently makes mistakes no matter what I order, and today was no exception. Here is the description of the volcano poké from their website " made with avocado, cucumber, green onion, tempura, Japanese spices, Japanese mayo, sesame and choice of base, torch-seared salmon, lettuce, radish, orange masago, ponzu and teriyaki sauce, spicy light and light mayo, nori. Here’s what was wrong: The salmon was raw and not torched, No orange masago, Seaweed was added, something I never asked for and that’s never been part of the original recipe. The lettuce was brown and rotting... honestly disgusting. There was barely any rice.... the bowl was mostly empty filler. And to top it off? I got ONE sad piece of radish. Really? When I mentioned the missing and incorrect ingredients, the person at the counter shrugged it off, saying “they came out with a new menu.” I’ve checked the updated menu online multiple times, and I know for a fact: the original Volcano Poké recipe has not changed. Edit: I've been going to this place for easily 15+ years without issue. Recently, I go in person to order their new-ish combo called "Combo Quebec" (its existed for about 6 months) and they tell me the combo does not exist even though it would have been the 6th time I order that exact combo from that exact location.
I then order that exact combo online from my car and go back inside to pick it up. Then they proceed to get angry stating that the combo does not exist and that they will not make it for me and that I need to cancel my order. I argue that the combo does in fact exist and it was not the first time I ordered it from them.
There is no where for me to cancel an order. Not on the website, not in the confirmation email. They could not figure it out either. Nor could they cancel it on their end. After about 20 minutes wasted of them trying to cancel the order, they finally make the combo and I leave.
Overall terrible customer service. They should know whats on THEIR menu and not double down on the defensive when the combo clearly exists.

Read moreIt used to be great, I used to go all the time, but it changed drastically over the past months. Either you have to wait for hours to get an order, either you get horrible service. The last time I went, the employees were talking very loud in Chinese, their conversation was way more important than serving me. I used to go once a week, everything was great, clean and fast. The cashier took some sauces out, some had leaked so instead of giving me a good one, she went to rince the little cup of sauce with water and gave it to me all wet, wet filthy mâ sauces, let's not talk about the filthy floors! I asked her politely and with a smile to change my dRippy dirty sauces and she say noooo they clean, I put water now while making Chinese jokes to her employes, were not in a nail salon here, it's rude and it's gross. When ordering sushi, you expect cleanliness. Lastly, it would be great to serve customer in a decent English or French, because I don't care, I'll speak both, but at least speak one of them, or hire a cashier who speaks another language.
