A nightmare
When we walked in the restaurant the 4 of us were brought to our table by a young lady. Our first impression was nice place! White table cloth and quiet ambiance. A few minutes later the waiter came to our table with his order pad and we told him that we were not ready to order. He abruptly replied “me either, I’m just here to explain the menu”. I asked him if he could please explain it in English as my husband is an anglophone. He rudely said no we don’t speak English here you will have to translate to him.
Wow, I couldn’t believe the frustrated attitude that this Grumpy Old Waiter had in this beautiful little restaurant. The food is excellent and prices reasonable.
My husband ordered in English and the waiter totally understood. As a matter of fact he asked him if he likes blue cheese.
The plates arrived and my husband and our friends had to wait to start eating as he was taking his time to bring me my plate. Last one to be served was me after the guys got their plates. During the meal he would talk to the guys in English...soooo strange but never said a word to the ladies. I have never been treated so poorly in a restaurant before. Never asked us if our meal was to our satisfaction or if we needed anything else such as coffee or tee. He got nicer and nicer to my Husband towards the end as he thought he was picking up the bill...
When he brought us our bill he face changed when he realized that my girlfriend and I took out our credit card to pay. Surprise….not always men pay the bill. I am usually a heavy tipper but this time...tip = $0 and so did my girlfriend. Too bad because it affected the hostess’ tip too.
When we left...here what he said “Don’t come back we don’t need you here. Next time go to McDonald”….Actually McDonald offers a better service then he does.

Read moreI recently visited Pasta E Vino with my family and was delighted by the exceptional food quality. The flavours were truly impressive, showcasing the talent of the kitchen staff.
However, I encountered a minor issue during my visit. The availability of the children's menu seemed uncertain, with conflicting information from the staff in comparison to a visit that I did less than a month before. Clear and consistent communication regarding the children's offerings would significantly enhance the dining experience.
Additionally, I inquired about a special menu or daily specials but received recommendations identical to the regular menu. It would be helpful if the restaurant could clarify the existence and availability of such offerings to avoid any confusion.
Overall, Pasta E Vino provides an outstanding culinary experience, but addressing these concerns would contribute to an even more...
Read moreExcellent experience! I highly recommend booking through their website since it’s a popular spot – and for good reason. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the service is outstanding and very fast.
We went for dinner, and even though the restaurant was packed, our waiter took care of us right away. Keep in mind that you need to bring your own wine.
For starters, we ordered the rillettes de canard and beef tartare. The portions were quite big—honestly, one appetizer would have been enough to share.
For the main course, I had the osso buco, and my husband had the trio of pâtés—everything was absolutely delicious!
We were completely full, but we couldn’t resist the dulce de leche dessert of the day—totally worth it!
The owner is very attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and family-friendly. This place is truly a gem, and we will...
