Passed by this restaurant while shopping and felt like a quick bite, so I thought I'd try it out... We were in a hurry to return home (2 hr drive), so I ordered one Souvlaki pita with pork. Firstly, the restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was lovely. The dining area is very nice, with two displays over the bar, which is just in front of the kitchen. The decoration is nice and lively, adequately Greek and having just returned from Greece, it felt great. This gets a 5 stars. However, the food and service, not so great unfortunately. I will say this however, don't take my review literally and I will state that my review only reflects this particular instance. Once I ordered my pita sandwich, it took almost 20 minutes for the order to be ready, and this was take out.. and the restaurant was nearly empty; there were a couple of occupied tables... After leaving and sitting in my car, I noticed I could not see any pork in my sandwich, so I went back and asked them. The hostess was shocked and mentioned it to the manager, who went to the kitchen to inquire, only to come back and point out to me the small pieces of pork (I asked pork on a stick, not the shredded meat)... You'll know what I mean when you see the pic. So I nodded and said Ooookay... And left. Now the taste... The pita was full of Tzatziki sauce and I could barely feel or see or taste the pork. That is simply my take. The Greek potatoes were good though, but the sandwich was indeed disappointing. I recently bought a similar sandwich from a fast food Greek place at a mall in Montreal and it was so tasty. In any case, I would not be surprised if other dishes are much better and nicer, because this place looked good. Maybe my experience was a...

So Mr MANAGER said , LETS GO SPEAK OUTSIDE and I refused . I said I will talk to you here at the bar .He said, YOU WANT TO INSULT ME IN FRONT OF MY CUSTOMERS ..OMG !!!!!!! SHOCKING!!! Read moreOut of all the other souvlaki bar locations I have attended many times (laval + ville st Laurent) this was our first visit to this location. The atmosphere was the best one of all locations so far!!! That's about it. Service was good. The food...nope...can't even be called greek food. Taste was not Greek in any way. I won't get into details.. but I am Greek, the souvlaki and the meat patty were not in any way good. We had the meat shovel meal for 4..that was not even in a meat shovel to begin with and was messed all up from the overflowing tzatzkki of the center of the plate all over the foods. An hour and half later...all of us were chasing to catch the toilets at home. Sad to say .. I won't be visiting that location again, will be going next door to the golden...
