Rôtisserie St-Hubert — Restaurant in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts

Normally St-Hubert is okay, but we had stopped going to this specific one over a decade ago because of substandard service (Imagine being told there's no ice cream left for dessert and they're going to get it at the depanneur, then come back minutes later saying the depanneur is out of stock - Yeah, that actually happened).

Today we decided to give it another chance and almost instantly regretted it. There was nobody to greet us and assign seating for a long time. Then when my 3 year old asked for a straw to drink her milk, they had none left. The food was barely warm enough to be considered acceptable. The included desserts with our meals that we picked were ice cream cups that according to the picture come with a cylinder-shaped cookie, which was nowhere to be found, and to top it all off my wife found something fishy in her ice cream (Yeah, disovery of the day, some people manage to mess up even ice cream).

I only gave 2 stars because the staff is friendly, but it's not enough to cover for the bad management that has afflicted this particular restaurant for the past two decades. It is not worthy of the St-Hubert banner and deserves to...

We visited Saturday March 22 2025 around 8pm. # of us order the quarter chicken (2 with fries, 1 with Caesar salad). Served the salade a chou at first. few minutes later food arrived. The 3 chicken plates were not warm and the fries for both orders were cold. Very disappointing to have the whole order served cold. restaurant wasn't busy, how could you go wrong and let it be served cold. The waitress handled the situation very well and took all plates to be served again with hot chicken and fries. The second time the chicken for all plates were warmer (not hot). The fries for the 2 orders were barely warm, over heated, dry and had no taste. I am not sure if its an unexperienced cook or a terrible one, how hard is it to have an order of fries served correctly. We had each 2 serving of the unlimited salad (mini bowl)..wish we were asked for some more as we waited for the second serving. ( Waitress didnt show up till 2nd serving). Awful customer service! I ordered by phone at 11 a.m. for a delivery at 12:30 p.m. The order finally came at 1:10 p.m. and when i called them to tell them about the late arrival the central told me that the restaurant will call and give me a discount for my next purchase for my wait. They call and tell me that they can't give me any discount because they have a time limit of 1 hour. And I repeat myself at least 6 times when i told her that from 11:00 to 12:30 there's 1h30 and that 1 hour time limit should be inside that time. She tells every time : ''I understand but we have a time limit of 1 hour.'' I mean how do you understand what I say when you don't even consider it in your response ? I am a regular at St-Hubert and I rarely complain about anything but this time it was like I was talking to a robot who can't take in consideration what I say and always has the same response like it is scripted.
