We had a supremely relaxed yet gastronomically stimulating dinner at Restaurant Normal.
While staying nearby at the Manoir Stonehaven, which has its own top-flight restaurant, we thought we’d steal a night away from that convenience of in-house dining to try this little restaurant with amazing reviews.
It was a good move as Restaurant Normal exceeded expectations.
Great little menu that changes almost every day, along with an extensive wine list with a deep selection of very interesting wines - including an excellent starter wine “on tap” from a Quebec vineyard.
Our server, Danny, was enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable about the food and wine pairings. Outside of him being seamlessly bilingual, he was very genuinely friendly - not the false smiley tip-seeking type.
A great foodie focal for Sainte Agathe des Monts.
PS: 4 stars only on the decor as it was extremely eclectic; we liked it, others may not as much....

Great and really reasonably priced local wine and beer by the glass doesn’t hurt either. We are already looking forward...

This restaurant should be rated number 1 in Canada and not Vin Mon Lapin (which we've also tried). Same concept but Restaurant Normal 100 times better! Merci Restaurant Normal.. We'll definitely be...
