Antonio Pizzeria Restaurant — Restaurant in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield

We had a horrid experience at this restaurant. The staff have absolutely no hospitality for non-french (non caucasian) speakers. How these people are in business is beyond me and I will never set foot in such a garbage place again.

We walk into an empty restaurant with a frightening looking burly man giving us the death stare behind the kitchen. The ditzy waitress comes out and takes her sweet time taking our order despite no one being there except staff. Despite speaking fluent English, she does not know what half her menu is and keeps having to go to the burly man who also knows nothing and her manager doesn't "pick up the phone" so we have to order randomly and hope they have it in stock. The food is absolutely despicable. We got mud ice tea without any ice and a plate of stale pieces of lettuce and ice cold shrimp. Prison food probably tastes better. We didn't get half the things we originally ordered. Furthermore, the waitress overcharged charges us extra for something we didn't get and only when we point it out decides to change it. Even had to audacity to ask for a tip which we were were kind enough to leave (very undeserving) .

Zero stars if possible. Do not eat here unless...

Je commande depuis des années a ce restaurant et j'ai toujours été tres satisfaite, la nourriture est bonne et la commande arrive toujours rapidement. Vendredi le 16 mai, j'ai fait une commande en ligne a 17h30. Après 1h15 a attendre, nous n'avions toujours pas notre nourriture. J'ai appelé pour faire jn suivi et on m'a informé que puisque la commande avait été placée en ligne, elle n'avait pas rentrer dans le système par un employé et donc, elle n'était pas en préparation. On m'a dit que la prochaine, si je voulais être certaine d'avoir ma commande, d'appeler. On me dit qu'ils vont envoyer la commande immédiatement en préparation.

Mettons que c'était ordinaire comme réponse et service a la clientèle déjà, mais on est 3 a avoir faim ici alors ok, on va attendre encore. 45 minutes plus tard, toujours pas de commande! J'appelle pour faire un autre suivi et on a encore perdu ma commande. Je demande a être remboursé et on me dit que ce n'est pas possible, il n'y a pas de gerant sur place, donc on va refaire ma commande pour une 3e fois.

Là c'est rendu inacceptable ! Ca fait 2 heures qu'on attend et deux fois ma commande n'est pas faite! Je demande a ce que le gérant fasse un suivi avec moi samedi dès son arrivé. Samedi, je contacte le restaurant puisque je n'ai pas de retour d'appel. Pas encore possible de me rembourser ou de parler a un gérant. J'ai envoyé un courriel de plainte dimanche, rendu au mardi, toujours aucune nouvelle de personne.

J'appelle le mardi pour essayer a nouveau de parler au gérant. On me dit qu'il n'est pas là, pas possible de lui parler et pas possible d'être remboursé, c'était a moi a ne pas accepter la 3e commande! PAREDON?!?! Il a fallu que je menace de me rendre sur place pour finalement avoir mon remboursement ! Le restaurant me traite comme si c'était moi la fautive dans tout ca alors que c'est eux qui ont perdu ma commande DEUX FOIS!!!! Je suis maintenant barrée de ce restaurant apparemment puisque le chef m'a dit en anglais to never come back there and never call again. Comme si j'avais besoin d'être barré ! Garanti que je ne commande plus jamais la bas! Pire service dont j'ai fait l'expérience de ma vie! Avoir a se battre pour sa commande et ensuite pour être remboursé, totalement...

The price are kind of hefty and the service will vary. Some day you will get a good service while other some waitress will be rude and make you feel like you are disturbing them simply by walking in by sighing every now and then. I mostly go there for take out for this exact reason, and I often have to wait for a delivery guy to come back with the debit/credit machine so I can pay.

My all-time favorite poutine is made there regardless of what I think of the place. It is honestly the only reason I go there...
