Rôtisserie St-Hubert — Restaurant in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield

I went there on Sunday 11th of June 2017, basically it was a bad experience and never going there again. We were 10 persons, celebrating a grand mother birthday. The place is relatively clean, only saw a couple of flies hovering around. Laurence, our waitress, was in a cheerful mood when she gave us the menu shortly after we were seated. Too bad it was the menu for Thursday and we all had to give the menus back and rethink our choices !. They served us the usual Coleslaw as appetizer. My girlfriend suddenly stop chewing and pulled a an inch long piece of wood from her mouth, about a tenth of an inch wide, it looked like a wooden tooth pick or hors d'oeuvre sticks that went into a shredder. We called Laurence, showed her the stick and told her to tell the cooks about the issue and we did not make a big deal out of it. I saw her take the stick and just place it on a tray and go about her business not telling anyone. For an appetizer, my gf and I took the onion rings and stuffed potato skins. After a couple of bites I pulled a transparent plastic piece about an inch long and quarter inch wide from my mouth ! Called Laurence who immediately said she will call the manager. The manager came and mumbled something like "oh! this can happen", we did not hear a single "sorry" or "we will do our best so it does not happen again". They got us another appetizer with no plastics or sticks in it. Later, when Laurence was preparing the bills we told her "I hope they won't charge us the appetizer !"which they did not. Sad to say that it was a bad experience and not going there again. Aurane étais ma serveuse qui a vraiment fait preuve d'un excellent service à la clientèle. Elle a su accueillir les clients avec un sourire chaleureux et une attitude amicale, ce qui a immédiatement créé une atmosphère agréable. Son attention aux détails était remarquable; elle a pris le temps de s'assurer que chaque commande était correcte et a toujours vérifié si nous avions besoin de quelque chose d'autre. De plus, sa connaissance du menu et sa capacité à donner des recommandations pertinentes ont grandement amélioré notre expérience. En somme, Aurane est une serveuse qui sait comment rendre chaque visite mémorable grâce à son professionnalisme et son engagement envers...

I've been ordering delivery from this restaurant 5+ years now whenever I ask for a cesar salad, sweet potato fries, or rice instead of the regular fries I either have no side dish or just have fries considering there's a 2-3 dollar surcharge I've been rob of at least 20-30 dollars I call everytime and I geothermal same ring around and then nothing comes of it. I don't mind so much getting just a fry ez mistake to make there's so many orders and you pump them out fast. But when the side is missing is when I'm actually angry because ya I want food then I'm treated like the bad guy for calling in when...
