I almost can't even put it into words. We ordered 3 breakfasts. 2 were skillets and pictured here a breakfast poutine. John's has been around for years and great standard breakfasts. The last 3 times I've visited, the breakfasts unfortunately have been subpar. Today I tried again. It was 50 min for takeout and it wasn't ready at the time indicated & the site requests a tip prior to food/service. $45 later..expensive breakfast and tasteless. The poutine potatoes weren't even grilled. The hollandaise tasteless. Barely any mushrooms and burnt teeny tiny bits of ham on the skillets. Very disappointing. I highly recommend John's focuses on their original standard breakfasts and do it well, rather then too many options done poorly. I'm disappointed as this place has always been the #1 in my books.

During my work trip to Sarnia, many of my clients suggested that I try out John's. I'm glad I did. The food was great and such a great value. The turkey dinner came with soup or salad, turkey, beans, mash potatoes, stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce. It also came with a slice of pumpkin pie. All that for 22 bucks. I couldn't even finish my meal it was so much food. The soup had one of the most flavourful broths I have ever had. The noodles were a bit more soggy than I would like. Overall just a great home cooked type meal. If this place was in Windsor it would do so well. I'll be visiting every time I'm in Sarnia now.

I went for breakfast with my mom for my birthday and really enjoyed myself. It is a bright enjoyable atmosphere, with friendly, quick and prompt service. Regular coffee refills and huge portion sizes. For Covid-19 guidelines, they allow dining in, and ask that you wear your mask preferably until the food arrives to avoid unmasked exposure times... we did not and they were understanding. I had a great time and made an awesome memory. BTW - they also have AWESOME THANKSGIVING DINNER, MAKE A RESERVATION, ITS A THING. Seasonal Patio service is also offered. 🥰

A feed days ago I order myself an omelette for delivery to my home, had a self care morning, food for one and documentaries I have had saved for so long, I’m always leery about ordering breakfast as take out as I feel breakfast foods don’t ravel well, HOLY SMOKES! When my breakfast was delivered I couldn’t believe my nose, eyes and mouth, this breakfast look gorgeous, it smelled delish and from bite one to the last bite I couldn’t believe the quality and taste! Unbelievable!!

So tonight, my husband and I orders dinner and I suggested Johns given my previous meal, and I sort of put them to the test and order something I have had from other places, that I know is go when I dine in but doesn’t travel well, good old fashioned fish and chips, usually they get get so so so soggy, but I ordered for two reasons, I was putting Johns to the test and because I was craving them but didn’t want to get out of my comfy pants…

ABSOLUTELY TO DIE FOR! How they heck did they master something no other place as! Packaging was nothing special and yet the fish and chip were absolutely something special!!

Johns, you have managed to become somewhere I never thought to order to something I now crave, I crave the quality and the taste and the absolute perfect of the meal that is delivered!

10/10 would absolutely recommend Johns, in fact I’m trying to talk myself out of grocery shopping tomorrow so we can order Johns because oops I forgot to go...

We were visiting the city and two people recommend this place. So i dont know if we were just unlucky or because was a day before holiday. I ordered the chicken parmegiana, which is stated as a signature dish. They didn't have pasta (they serve only after 2pm and i ordered 1:55pm). So the other option was with potatoes and veggies, the dish comes with an entry (i got salary) and desert. So the salada was forgotten and came after the main. My dish was: a smal salty chicken (luckily i like salty food, but if you have high blood pressure stay away) 4 potatoes, and 1/3 of a canned corn. When i ask if the vegetables (plural) means corn only the waiter said yes (multiple corns maybe?). Obs i dont like corn if i was told would be like that I would have picked something else. And the dish just looked really depressing, unusual take pictures but not this time. The beer was also forgotten, had to order is twice. The dessert (chocolate pudding) was the only good thing. Ahh and the garlic bread with cheese also a safe choice. The waiter apologized for the service provided as she was super tired (we could tell actually). So despite all the negative experience i gave her the 15-18% tip. I am giving a bad review because my experience was bad. Again maybe just super unlucky. I would recommend next customer to stick to the greek dishes. Probably they will make is better as it is a...

My first time trying the food here and I was excited for some good Greek food. The Gyro I got was delicious, but not what I ordered for take out. I repeated several times that I wanted the chicken gyro. First she tried to put my order in as Olympic souvlaki and tried to charge extra for toppings like tzatziki etc. I said the meal is supposed to come with all that already. After multiple attempts she had to get a menu, which she presented to me upside down. I kept saying it's the chicken gyro on your website. She offered the Chicago style gyro saying it comes in chicken or beef. Again I said I wanted the chicken and she finally put my order in. When i got back and opened it, I saw it was a beef gyro. I didn't have time to go back so I ate it, and it was good, but not what I ordered and also a more expensive meal. I think this server needs a little more training. She was also quite impatient with me, but I was being as clear as I could, repeatedly saying I wanted the chicken. There was no salt, pepper or ketchup offered which would have been nice to have with the fries. The Greek salad, which I was really looking forward to, was disappointing. The lettuce wilting and brown and the tomatoes looked like they'd been chopped a day or two ago. I hope this was just an off day as this place seems super busy and I would like to actually try the...
