McDonalds — Restaurant in Sarnia

Went through the drivethrough about 6 PM after working all day..had a family member with me..ordered 2 big Mac meals, both with coke and large size one fry...wasn't given any straws for the drinks..but no big deal because I hate paper straws..they are gross...I keep a pack of plastic straws in my glove box because I dislike paper ones that much..we decided to eat in the parking lot so I could enjoy my food without it going cold by the time we would have made it home...that's when I realized one of the drinks was not a coke...no big deal...will just have my family member run in with the drink and have it switched to what it was supposed to be..the older lady behind the counter thought it was "strange that it wasn't a McDonald's straw " my family member came back to the car for the receipt to prove we weren't lying...lol...instead of apologizing for the mistake, a lecture was given on how odd it was that it was a plastic straw and how people supposedly steal pop at this location. What?? How does that work..people walk in with a cup, go behind the counter and steal pop??... besides the fact that the patties on big macs now are basically as thick as a slice of bologna , you also have to put up with employees who are NOT about customer service...won't go back! And I don't find it strange at all that I decide to buy plastic straws to keep in my car for pop...I do find it very strange however that people could steal McDonald's pop at this location and how it felt like an interrogation when asking to get...

Every single time I go there I go to the drive thru and every single time I have to wait at the last window for over 10 mins for my order while 3-5 people get their orders and are on their way no problem. I usually just get a coupe of breakfast sandwiches and a coffee. You would think in the mornings they would have plenty of eggs ready to go.

But today was especially bad service. I pulled up to the speaker box and was able to choose either one because no one was ahead of me. So I pull up to the box and wait for several seconds in silence when finally someone came on and tells me to hold on for a moment. Ok no problem I can wait a min. Except that not one but 2 other people pulled up to the box beside me, ordered and we're up to the window to pay before someone finally came back on and took my order. And just like clockwork I was told to pull up to the last window and wait for my order while 5 other people behind me got their orders no problem.

This is by far the worst McDonald's I've ever been to and it is consistently bad. Not just...

I'm giving this place a 1 star rating and that is being generous. We paid $27 for food that wasn't worth a dollar. We ordered 2 Big Mac meals, my wife had a pop, and I a coffee. Other then the fries everything was cold. I returned the coffee for a hot cup of coffee. The girl that waited on my had a real hard time comprehending that I want another cup of coffee, but hot, even though I keep it as simple as possible. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant which should have given staff time to doing things. The girl that waited on us did so in her winter coat, extremely unprofessional. While she was standing around doing nothing, tables were dirty and the garbage was full. I used to drive school bus, and stopped in there for a coffee in between drop offs, that was last fall. Complained numerous times about the quality of the food and the horrendous service. Apparently, my and other people's complaints went unheeded. This place is an embarrassment to anyone who should venture in, and the McDonald's brands. If this is your best, shut...
