Read moreEarlier today, I visited the store and ordered an English Muffin and Biscuits, both double toasted. However, upon taking the first bite, I immediately noticed a strong burnt taste. Upon further inspection, I found the corners of the sandwich to be severely burnt.
I returned to the drive thru to inform the staff about the issue and returned the sandwich. One of the team members responded by suggesting that I should request my food to be “lightly toasted” in the future. I explained that double toasted items should not be burnt to that extent, and this was clearly a preparation error. Unfortunately, instead of acknowledging the mistake or offering a proper resolution, the staff member maintained their stance and even suggested that I visit a different Tim Hortons next time.
I found this response both dismissive and unprofessional. As a paying customer, I believe I have the right to raise concerns about the quality of food I receive, especially when it does not meet basic preparation standards. Had I been informed beforehand that “double toasted” could result in burnt food, I might have made a different choice.
I am disappointed with the handling of the situation and would appreciate it if appropriate action is taken to ensure staff are trained to respond more respectfully and professionally to customer concerns...

The priorities from the workers were seemingly no where to be found, there was no sense of urgency and nobody looked like they knew they’re working in the “service industry”. Unfortunately I wasn’t the only one in line to walk out nor was I the first. I was going to request to talk to a manager had I been early enough to have my order taken (presumably before the restaurant opens). The atmosphere was gloomy and nobody was smiling or looking happy, the boy behind the counter must’ve been high because (no exaggeration) it took him 10 minutes to count a 50 pack of timbits. After my visit I was left extremely dissatisfied. Is it to much to expect the bare minimum set by the other...
