New York Fries Lambton Mall — Restaurant in Sarnia

I absolutely love New York’s fries and eat hear all the time. However today when we came I watched a girl scrubbing the middle fryer with a scrub pad and paper Towels while there was fry’s hanging on each side of her. When I mentioned to staff I would life new fries because of what happened and im not sure what she had sprayed on her sponge they said they weren’t allowed to make new fries until those ones were gone. So I asked for my money back and they Refused saying they were authorized to do so. Needless to say they served us our food and we threw it all out. I heard a staff say WOW and the Other one just starred at us. I’m sorry I usually only right good reviews however I’m not going to eat fries that have been covered in chemicals or splatter. NYF is normally my go to place for fast food, but after today I am so disgusted by the fries I received I doubt I’ll ever go back, and certainly never to this location!! I ordered the veggie fries with cheese curds. The lady forgot the cheese curds so I kinda reminded her, she hardly added any to the fries then went and added MORE processed cheese sauce, to the point where my fries were entirely soaked in a cheese sauce soup, after she added a disgusting amount of cheese, she looked at me and said “oh did you want extra cheese sauce”

She also added all the toppings on the fries (tomato, onion, sour cream and the regular layer of cheese) then looked up and said oh sorry you were wanting everything on these right? My husband and I have come to rely on NYF because it’s the one place that works for both out allergies. We get the same thing every time because of the allergies we have and the staff have learned our order. The staff are truly great. They recognize us and are so welcoming. Adam is a great guy with top notch customer service skills. He sees us coming and gets our order started. He even knows our little preferences of how much ketchup, that we want a California seasoning and an extra container to put the seasoning in. He is so welcoming and has a great sense of humour.
