I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent order. I ordered a Tom Yum soup, but what I received was far from what I expected. The broth was an unusual dark brown color and did not resemble Tom Yum soup in taste or appearance at all. Traditionally, Tom Yum broth should have a reddish hue and a distinctive tangy, spicy flavor—none of which were present in my order. I have never encountered a Tom Yum soup with broth that dark.

What made the experience worse was the customer service I received when I brought this issue to the attention of the person who prepared my soup. After I politely addressed my concerns and asked for confirmation, the staff member simply said “yea” without any explanation or effort to rectify the situation, and then proceeded to continue preparing other orders without further interaction. This dismissive attitude was very disappointing.

I have never experienced such poor customer service and subpar food quality at Thai Express before, and this experience has left me hesitant to order from you again. Honestly, I won’t be...

I have loved this place for years. I have gone like 50 times. Last month I was craving green curry and called to order ahead. They said it would be ready in an hour, which is kinda a long time for a place at the mall, but I was ok with it. However, they didn’t even start making it until I showed up to pick it up an hour later! I was standing there for another 20 minutes and they weren’t even busy! That’s what I called to avoid! They did not care about my time or the fact that I’d called ahead and already waited an hour ( the amount of time THEY gave me for it to be ready!)

I am Caucasian and a meat and potatoes kind of guy. I was at the mall boxing day and ate Thai Soup. My partner and I have Thai food at a lovely Thai restaurant in Exeter, ON about twice a month and really enjoy it. She always orders the same and easy-going that I am go along with it.
