BabyBean: Play Cafe — Restaurant in Saskatoon

So me and my friend came to hang out. I found out about this place because a friend of mine posted on Instagram and it looks like a cool place to check out for Mom and babies. Based on my experience as a mom with disability accessibility to the play area, Café is a little bit tight. I would highly recommend putting automatic door on the front door that would make our stroller a lot easier. I appreciate the space for parking a stroller. The food was pretty good well cooked and warm Was pretty tasty too things with my friends pieces and us not offering to help the staff hardly did anything reluctantly to offer us assistance as we try to get his head unstuck from the equipment it took about 10 minutes to get him out. My friend posted a review on Facebook and was met with very rude messaging from one of your previous employees who apparently worked her last shift there she accused my friend of not watching her child. In my opinion that was very unprofessional. My friend is a fantastic mom and this was an accident, but I feel like more assistance could’ve been helpful and the comments from your staff Online was unacceptable. Booked the Cafe for a Baby Shower, everyone had a great time! The space is very nice and welcoming, perfect for an event like this! I thought there would be more chairs but because of a few people not showing up we had just enough. Only thing that was a negative was I did not realize I wouldn't have anyone there to show me around/where things are until the morning of the party. Less than 2 hours before the event I got an email with a list of how to set up/close down (I live out of town so I was driving when I received the email and almost missed seeing it) Because of this I was definitely a bit stressed trying to read the email for the first time while opening the space. Communication could use some improvement and maybe walk the client through the space for 10 minutes just to make sure they understand where things are, or provide a map of some kind in the email. (I couldn't find the Bluetooth speaker) Coffee was to be included but the creamer in the fridge was only about a quarter full so did not have a enough for everyone to have some. We rented babybean for two hours on the weekend, for our son's first birthday party and we cannot say enough good things about it! The space was clean and tidy when we arrived, there was a Bluetooth speaker available to play our music, and we were able to bring a few decorations to set up. We were also able to bring outside food, and all of our guests seemed comfortable and relaxed throughout the evening. We were also provided with a barrista to make lattes and other specialty drinks, which many of my guests raved about.

Dealing with the owners was super easy! I just followed their 'contact us' page on their website and emailed Sydney. She was happy to arrange a time for us, and super helpful. Payment was made online via squareup, which allows debit, Mastercard, or etransfer to pay. Once that was completed, Sydney sent over the rental guide with expectations, which were well organized and easy to follow.
