Great little place in the North end. I think they have the best vietnamese spring rolls in SK. The place is a little outdated but the food is good. My husband and I loves the beef rice noodle soup here, especially on cold fall/winter nights. I haven't been here for years before this recent visit and the owner still recognized me.

Their special noodle bowl is amazing. All the meat is good and perfectly seasoned. The chicken in their noodle bowl is breast meat. Their spring rolls are amazing! Need to try more off the menu but this noodle bowl is too good.

Had a really great time. Food was fresh, hot and good, didn't take as long as expected. Nice and welcoming waitresses.

Mi Hong is yet another hole-in-the-wall place that all the regulars love so much they only tell their best friends about it. The staff are friendly, do their job well and check in with you often enough to make sure you're taken care of but not so often that you feel hassled.

I find that the state of the staff is very high on my list. If they're happy and helpful, that is a very big temperature taker for how everything else is.

I had supper there with my wife and we both thought the spring rolls were the best we'd ever had. Nice and crispy on the outside, packed well in the middle, and full of great flavor.

As with most restaurants it was a little noisier than I liked, but really not bad. Part of this was helped by the intimate setting. Tables for 4 were probably the largest layouts and the restaurant is on the long and skinny configurations.

I also enjoyed the special fried rice, even though I myself prefer more garlic in it. The ginger beef wasn't over salty but my wife wanted more ginger in it. However, still very good.

I...

Placed an order for takeout on the weekend and there was a steady stream of people coming in to pick up takeout and to dine-in. I understood why once we got home and started eating our food. Everything in our order was delicious: the meat, vegetables and noodles were cooked and seasoned to perfection. I didn't know such tender chicken existed on this planet. Vietnamese crispy spring rolls made my mouth sing (especially when paired with the fish sauce and hot sauce). The portion sizes were impressive especially for #33, which I could have broken up into three satisfying meals for myself. Don't judge by appearances -- this restaurant may be in a north end industrial strip mall, but its got to be one of the best in the city. And customer service from the hostess was second...

This is second time ordered food from here and they forgot to include one noodle bowl. One time I can understand but twice in a row and I was picking up said 20 minutes for pickup was here 20 minutes till had to wait another 20 minutes for food and it wasn’t even busy in the restaurant. She did charge for 1 noodle bowl but very poor services and very disappointed cause we liked their food not again anytime soon

Well we decided to try here again and the service and food was really great and hot. The only issue we had was the salad rolls seemed to be done differently but still good And they got our order correct so that was a bonus so glad cause we will be going...
