Brutal treatment to customers and false descriptions of items on the menu. I accessed their online menu and made an order for online delivery 1 All suited up, I ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza while the other one was vegetarian; both pizzas were large. Since I am a vegetarian, I ordered a big vegetarian pizza. When they brought my order, every single pizza included meat toppings, and there was not a single vegetarian option. I made a phone call to the store to let them know. I tried to explain that I had spent $47.95 and that there was an issue with your website, but he did not comprehend what I was trying to say and instead blamed me for it, saying that it was my fault. After I insisted that he stop fighting with me and accept my refusal, he informed me that someone will contact me.
After a while, a woman contacted me on my mobile phone, and she too blamed me for the error, saying that it was my fault. I told her that you ought to examine your website. She argued that I had used the incorrect order and gave me a $1 and $2 discount the following time; however, given that I had already spent $47.95, I refused the reduction. I informed her that I was no longer interested in continuing any order with since she had not accepted responsibility for their error and continued to blame me for it. After we had a disagreement, she requested me to message her my new order on her cell phone. I reminded her that I had specifically mentioned half chicken and half vegetables, and I can provide the photo of the message I sent to her. She added that she would contact the store and that you could pick out your new pizza without having to pay for it.
I called my boyfriend to pick up pizza from the store, and when he got there, the guy was giving him a narrative about how this, that, and the other thing happened, and he demanded my partner to pay the money for the pizza, even though the lady had provided it to me for free.
After my other half had picked up the pizza, I opened it, and the entire pizza with chicken no other toppings. I immediately called the lady's number. I asked the woman who answered the phone why person charged money for pizza to my partner, yet the toppings on my pizza were still off. The woman responded by saying, "Oh, he was my husband. He asked the money. I told it's completely cheating, and you guys told lie." Therefore, I was charged $57.95, yet I did not consume any pizza. My advice is to stay away from this location at all costs. If there was a 0-star rating choice, I would always choose that one.
The story that she is relating is completely fictitious. Since I don't eat meat, there's no need for me to order two pepperoni pizzas. My preference was to pay $19 at that time because I had used my other card, but I did offer a present to a coworkers, and I informed another colleague that if they paid right away, I would e-transfer them the money or hand them cash. When I tried to explain that perhaps there was a problem with your online order, the lady and guy just kept arguing with me. Finally, when the lady called me, I told her that I had received the wrong order because I don't eat meat, and I asked if they could make a new pizza that I could pick up later. She told me that I needed to pay, but I questioned why I should do so given that there was a problem with my online order. I didn't ask the whole thing; I just asked, "Can you make half vegetarian and half chicken?" She replied yes, and then she informed me that she would contact the shop while I sent her a message on her phone requesting my pizza. I am able to upload the photograph that she did not even notice my message and still produced the incorrect pizza. If you wanted to take money from someone who doesn't know anything, you should tell me before its not free and I have to pay. She sent a on my phone to return my money and provided me pizza for free I totally denied. even though the pizza was so dry and tasteless that she sent another message to my phone after I left her feedback saying how unsatisfactory...
Read moreBrutal customer service and inaccurate menu descriptions. I used their online menu and placed a pick up order via phone for 3 nachos (described as a heaping order of nachos topped with cheese and assorted vegetables). When I got home I opened them to find some sort of mystery meat (ground beef according to the manager) throughout the nachos. The menu does not describe this, I called to notify the manager. He claimed they do not have a website, and only use skip the dishes, which is false-see bellislandpizzasaskatoon.ca.
He was dismissive and insisted they had no website with a menu and told me that I should have clarified that I was vegetarian and didn’t want meat, despite no description of meat on their menu. He insisted that I had used the wrong menu and offered me a $1 and $2 discount next time and again told me to use skipthedishes menu. I declined the discount, as I spent $31.65 and tipped $8. I told him I wasn’t interested in continued business anymore as he had taken no accountability and continued to blame me for their mistake.
After the phone call ended, I looked at skipthedishes and found the exact same description. I called back to inform him that both their existing website and skipthedishes had incorrect descriptions. He then changed his story and told me that most people aren’t vegetarian and most people want meat on their nachos and that’s why they come with meat. I explained that I understand that some people want meat and that’s perfectly fine, just include it in the description. He continued to interrupt me and repeatedly told me I should have clarified that I didn’t want meat because most people do.(Uhhhh I thought that was the purpose of the description?). After talking in circles, he eventually offered to replace my order but added that next time I should clarify no meat. I declined and explained I simply wanted to inform him so he could make the according changes to which he replied ‘we will try to change that’, before hanging up on me.
Rude and dismissive. Don’t give into the temptation of the dirt cheap prices, it includes dirt cheap service and...

Okay listen... I know pizza like Joey from Friends knows pizza, and Bell Island Pizza? This place is the real deal!!
We ordered the Honey Almond Chicken and the Cheeseburger Pizza, and let me tell you... “Joey doesn’t share food,” and after tasting these, neither do we.
The Honey Almond Chicken was TO. DIE. FOR. We’re talking whole, shredded chicken (none of that weird mystery meat), sweet honey drizzle, and that almond crunch? OMG. Bellissimo! And don’t even get me started on the dough soft, chewy, perfectly baked.. I could nap on that crust. 🤌
Now the Cheeseburger Pizza? It actually tasted like a cheeseburger! Pickles? On point. No pizza sauce? Bold. Genius. Delicious. I legit felt like I was cheating on burgers with pizza, and pizza was winning.
This was honestly some of the best pizza I’ve had in Saskatoon, hands down. Bell Island, you have officially become my “we’re treating ourselves tonight” go-to.
PIVOT your plans and order from these guys already!! (Okay, wrong Friends quote, but I...
