Firstly I will say that we have ordered from here twice recently and the first time everything was great. Food came in a reasonable amount of time and everything was delicious. Because of that we decided to order again. Both times were through skip, both times we got a large combo which included wings, ribs, boneless wings, and chicken fingers. Skip does not let you select specific flavors for specific items, so both times we included a note listing which flavors for which items at the end of our order.
This evening we had asked for a substitution of more boneless wings instead of chicken fingers, which they don't do for these combos, which is totally fair. They called and we let them know which flavors we wanted the fingers to be since we couldn't get the substitution.
When the order arrived, only the chicken fingers were the correct flavors, everything else was wrong. I realized I had made an error and mixed up one other item in my note vs what I had picked on skip. We called the restaurant and after a long conversation they said that they would give us a credit for the 5 items that were the wrong flavors. A few minutes later they called back and basically told us it was our fault, and that they would give us credit for only two items.
The money isn't a big deal, and I understand that things are tough for many restaurants right now, but being called and having someone blame me for their mistake was both irritating and rude.
The food is good, and this may have become our go to for wings and pub style food, but based just on the service I don't think we're even going to bother going back for the two...
Read moreI don't like writing this cause I really enjoy the price and food they have here, I come here twice a month atlease, some times once a week, my orders aren't rocket science, but several times there's always these little mishaps, like forgetting to give me my drink that comes with my order, or my wings having no seasoning at all, or one of the girls charging me extra fries when I order a combo, or not putting a gravy like I had requested in my order, another time I asked for dry wings and they gave me wet sauce wings .... today I asked for seasoning on the side and they put it on the fries and also decided I need to go on a diet plan cause they gave me 9 wings instead of 10, I get it, I been in customer service and it can get hectic but the amount of mess ups is like kind of astounding lol, like the girl would repeat my order then still put seasoning on the fries, instead of the side, its comical but at some point it gets tiring, cause I get wings from here alot, so I'm not looking to make the staff feel attacked but I feel like there's a huge gap in communication here and that's a issue for any healthy business, I will still buy food from here but I just don't want to feel like I'm rolling a dice every time I get my order..... something I pay for, I'm not begging for it, I think it's not too much to ask for the correct...
