Dino's Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Saskatoon

Poor rating due to MANAGER!! My first expirence at Dino’s was great. So I raved about it to my friends and went back a second time. A group of friends and I went in on a Saturday, about 10:30pm. We played slots and ordered food. The waitress was nice and the food was good. We went over the bowling lanes and decided to try a game. It’s $4.00 each and there were 3 of us wanting to play. We all put are money in, balls came out, but nothing happened. We told our waitress and she said she would get the manager for us. Before we could explain what happened, he (the manager)was screaming and yelling at us, saying it was out of order. (There were NO signs) there was old duct tape on the front, that he said meant was out of order. He kept pointing at it while screaming and yelling at us that we should have known. He kept on and on, clearly outraged! Finally, I politely asked that he refund our money and we would leave. He went on for a while more before he stormed off to to refund our money. As we were leaving, he tried to apologize. I told him I wouldn’t accept the apology, as his behaviour was completely uncalled for. Never in my life, have I (being a paying customer) ever been treated so disrespectfully! I really enjoyed going to Dino’s, but after that experience, I will never step foot in that establishment again. That manager should be fired. That was NO way to treat customers. This place is chaotic. I've gone occasionally for wing nights over the last few years. The servers turn over a lot, and I've had very few good ones.

Some highlights: -leaks in the ceiling, some of which were contained with buckets on tables, others which suprised me and my friends by dripping on us -being elbowed by a server as they pushed past me without saying anything -another similar instance where a server shoved past me without saying anything

Most recent visit: -two servers repeatedly hollering and cackling at each other from across the room -all of us being condescended, while we were polite and respectful -at one point a server mocked one of my friends -server was really unimpressed about having to walk to both sides of the table to drop off orders, some of our orders were actually tossed onto the table towards us -myself and two other people were overcharged -wings were cold and under sauced

Went on wing Wednesday, wings were good, Drinks were watered down. Maybe 6 more tables of 4 people, our waitress, Kim, complained about being very busy. There was at least one other waitress there as well. One of our girls wings took an hour plus another 15 mins for the appetizer she ordered at the same time. Kim claimed it was the kitchens fault. If she had forgotten the order, just admit it. She gave us attitude when we didn’t order another drink after our first. Asked for waters and she only brought one back and continue to complain about how busy it was when there were maybe 20 people. There were 2 waitresses and a bartender. After the meal she made us stand by the computer for 10 minutes while she visited at another table. Once at the computer, she made us tell her what we all had so she could split the bill then. She got a $4 tip, which was way more than she deserved. And then had the audacity to ask for more. If you’re going to promote wing night, better be staffed properly.
