Iāve been ordering from this Dominoās (Gray Avenue, Saskatoon) for yearsābut after what happened tonight, Iāll never order from here again.
I placed an order for two pizzas and dipping sauces. What showed up? One pizza. No sauces. A whole pizza just missing. Thatās bad enoughābut the real problem was how I was treated when I called to fix it.
Instead of apologizing or offering a refund or redelivery, the worker I spoke with, I think his name was Kamir gave me major attitude, said heād call me back after calling the manager and never did, hung up on me when I called back, and when I called back again he said itās not their issue once the pizza leaves the store and they checked the cameras, the driver took it. (Iāll admit his attitude and responses started to get me riled up to the point of swearing and asking to speak to a manager because COME ON, YOUāRE SERIOUSLY GOING TO TREAT ME LIKE THIS?!) he wouldnāt even let me speak to a manager. He told me the manager said to ājust submit a complaint onlineā and acted like it wasnāt his problem at all. It was a complete joke. I had to fight off the urge to go in person and not lose my mind.
This was hands down the worst customer service experience Iāve ever had from any Dominoās. Absolutely zero accountability or care for the customer. Itās unacceptable to mess up an order and then treat the paying customer like garbage. The good news is now Iāll eat a lot less pizza when I will never trust this Dominos again lol.
Beware! These people donāt care about the customer at all. Not worth your health or money. Never again. Still havenāt gotten my $ back.
UPDATE: I just found out the person who āleft the store with my orderā according to Dominoās tracking is Haroonāthe manager of the store. This is the same āmanagerā that Kamir claimed was unavailable and said to file an online complaint. So why was I denied speaking to him, and how could the manager personally deliver a half-order and still claim nothing was wrong? Something shady is definitely going on here. This isnāt just a mistakeāit feels intentional...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMe again, couldnāt help myself when I heard of the Dominoās NY style pizza as Iām a sucker for NY style. Unfortunately, even though they have an option for lightly cooked, they are unable to deliver lightly cooked. I will say however that if they could lightly cooked a pizza that this would be a decent pizza as far as a chain restaurant goes. Last time I was at Dominos, after burned pizza again, I said I wouldnāt return, hopefully this time I can adhere to that. Never got back to manager last time even though they did reach out to me. Kudos for that. Also donāt understand why I would tip in advance when ordering online only to receive a substandard product? Pay your staff more, donāt expect me to subsidize them., I tip for good service and good product, not for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDelivered to wrong apartment, called customer service to see if we could get the food we had ordered without having to spend another extra $40, decided to just settle on a refund and not get the pizza just to not go through all the troubles. It was a mistake, and mistakes happen but it's still extremely frustrating, I just recommend having some sort policy of having the deliverers to double check with the customers and confirm their orders, for example: showing proof of purchase, having the customers first state the name of who ordered, or calling the customers ro verify, etc. (Contactless is an option but with how dishonest people are nowadays, its unreliable). My neighborhood is notorious for thiefs and dishonest people so it would be a great policy...
