Delicious breads, baking, treats and fruit preserves, Donna always delivers the best quality whether at the Saskatoon Farmers' Market, an outdoor summer market, or pickup/ delivery from their bakery shop. LOVE their traditional poppy seed loaf!

I purchased from the app "too good to go". (The to go place should have been the trash bucket, not my pantry). From the picture and the write-up in the "to go" app, I was assuming it was "baked goods". I ordered the $60 package for $20,. This is what I received ...

For baked goods I received 1 "Double Stuff" Poppy Seed Loaf. However, it seemed to have only been double stuff at the visible end that was cut (from the other half of the loaf). This to me is lying/cheating / deceiving. After cutting the first slice, poppy seeds get fewer and fewer and fewer, until the end of the loaf there was next to none. Very misleading. Misrepresentation on the description of "double stuff".

In my package i received 6 Hamburger Buns, I do not know of any human that can bite the size of this hamburger bun, never mind putting a patty in between. (Crazy, definitely not a wow factor for me if this is what they were going for. I call it no consideration for the consumer.) They also came Frozen and stale like the poppy seed loaf.

The last of 3 bakery items for $60 was a Broken Sugar Cookie. Umm thank-you for that. If it was to make up the $2 that you would have charged for the other items that I have received. I would never on God's green earth by a stale sugar cookie for $2! (I gave it to my dog, after all it was shaped like a dog bone. He liked it)

I also received 5 - 250 ml jars of preserves, regular price is $8). Completing the order of a $60 package for $20. The first and only preserve that I opened was a "Corn Relish". When I opened the jar, the corn on the top was grey! Yack! I have not opened any of the other preserves because I am not a jam and jelly person. This is the biggest/main reason why I was disappointed when I picked up the package because when I decided to try this establishment, I thought that it was baked goods and not preserves. Nowhere in the ad does it say or show preserves as an item that we would receive!! BUT I SEE BAKED GOODS! I was very disappointed! I WOULD NOT AND DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANYTHING (I personally think that the prices of the items that I received were to be fresh, is over the top.) I feel that this is a one-time try it place, and you will say geez I wish I would have believed that review. (Or maybe the proprietor sees this and decides to step up...

First off I love the simple homemade ingredients which is hard to find these days! 1st order I ordered pretzel buns and was told they do not have any. Then I got charged the wrong tax but appreciated that they caught it. Then I ordered hamburger buns and got sandwich buns. Second order, all my items were frozen and they advertise “ made fresh daily”? Not what I was expecting and they should be cheaper if frozen plus I needed them that day. I was told it is the time of the year? Not sure what that means as Christmas is a time of the year we appreciate fresh baked goods...

I bought a chocolate zucchini loaf and a banana loaf at Gardenscape at the end of the last day at full price, so I expected a moist luscious fresh slice of each. They should have been marked down considerably as it was obvious after the first bite that they were at least three or four days old. I wanted to love them, but they were so dry that I had a mouthful of dry crumbs and almost choked on it. I had to drink water with a bite of the zucchini loaf still in my mouth in order to swallow it. Sorry, I expected better. So disappointed and a huge waste...
