Went to try this place after being told by so many friends and family that it's the best burger you'll ever have. The place itself is not what I expected, I thought it was going to be more like a pub-style setting but it's a small little eatery in a strip mall, which isn't a bad thing. The cons: no substitutions for any of their burgers/sandwiches. I asked if I could have a burger without 1 ingredient and was told no. I wonder how they approach this situation when people have severe food allergies? the staff kind of pressure you into what you should order. We said it was our first time there and felt like we didn't really have time to review the menu before suggestions were being aggressively thrown at us. Not the "may I suggest " or "_ is really popular" but more of "you need to have this and this" It's sort of pricey. For 2 burgers, an order of garlic fries with a small gravy and a fountain pop, it was $50 Food was greasy

The pros: The staff like to joke around and tease their patrons which is a different atmosphere and honestly kind of fun. if you're easily offended or don't like f-bombs, don't go here While the food is really greasy, it was super tasty Small restaurant with a "homey" type feel they play heavy metal music which is my jam so I liked that but I understand it's not everyone's favorite genre

While not the best burger I've ever tasted, the portions are huge, the staff genuinely seem to care about their patrons and even apologized for maybe going too far with one joke. It was a different experience for us and we will return to try out their...

Food is fantastic but I will not be returning in person.

Staff is constantly screaming at other staff and I came in about a year ago and watched a man at the till scream at a woman and her boyfriend because she asked to remove cheese due to an allergy. I know not to ask for modifications here, but it very quickly escalated into a screaming match due to the tone of voice and volume used by the person behind the till.

Now like I said, I understand, no modifications. Just say no. Don’t be a jerk.

I won’t spend a cent here anymore. It made me extremely uncomfortable as I was sat there with my brothers who were too young for the kind of crap being shouted.

I understand it’s your whole “marketing thing” but it’s actually just rude. I hear you asking “why post this review a whole year later?” Well I got together with some friends and suggested goblin grill, 4 out of our party of 6 have had a bad experience here for the SAME THING. “If you aren’t a big girl and can’t eat your vegetables, say hi to mommy for me when you get home” ????? Grow up????? I’m about to give you 28 dollars for JUST a burger??????

Overall, if you enjoy spending money at a place that loves to demean or yell at their customers for just asking a question (mind you, a simple “no” works) Goblins Grill is the place for you!

Note to owner and management: YOU ARE NOT “KARENS DINER”. Just say “we don’t allow modifications” AND MOVE ON. Also stop screaming at your staff in the back, I’m a server and have worked the line, it can be done without screaming if your management isn’t a bunch of...

This place is worth checking out. Incredibly fast service. Helpful friendly and gregarious counter help is the vibe. This place is primarily for takeout but has seating.

At payment the debit machine prompts you straight to generous tipping options. This is awkward. The counter guy was great, but you do not get waiter service. You will not have dishes. You will get your own water. To the guys at the grill, if this is working for you this its working, but it was a minus.

The place was clean and well maintained. The guys working there are hustling, and I feel they did a great job.

We had two war pigs (4/5 stars) Vanilla, cookies and cream shakes ( 5/5 stars) Large fry (4 stars) Onion bale (2 stars) with Chipotle mayo (5 stars) We had ample enough to eat without the onion bale.

The burgers were very rich, which is part of the identity of the place. I found that the bacon was super good quality. The flavors of the burger ingredients were a bit overwhelmed by the number of things going on, and next time I'll build my own. I didn't taste the pepper, only garlic and sweetness.

For me, I could take a smaller portion and a lower price point next time.

Overall these guys can go head to head with the competition, I'll come back and see where I think the best niche offering they had was. The shakes are very good. They look great. I've never had better cookies and cream, so...

Overall I really enjoyed the meal. They have craft burgers which is a set burger with no modifications; we were told right away to go with rink burger if we want any changes so that’s what I did. It’s pretty much a “build it yourself” burger. Veggies are free, cheese and others such as bacon, eggs, and guac are extra charges. I got mine pretty basic: single patty ($8.25) with mushrooms, pickles, lettuce and dill mayo sauce and paid $1.75 for bacon so came out to $10. Definitely a good portion and loved it! I love how fresh the veggies were (some places…I don’t want to even start…) My boyfriend got the Patty Melt ($14.25) and it was good but he wouldn’t get it again. He prefers to have more veggies in his burger so it wouldn’t be so beef-y 😅 We also got a combo which comes with fries and a fountain pop. Fries were already nicely salted which was a love but the portion was much smaller than expected so that was disappointing. Other than that, everything was great! The restaurant itself is a bit smaller so once the door opens, it gets pretty chilly (esp if you sit by the door). We’d definitely come back and I definitely want to try their Goblin’s egg (saw IG pics and I’m craving it now 🤤)

Have been hearing such great things about Goblin's Grill and how they have the best burgers in the city so I had to try it out! Starting off, had a PBJ milkshake which was so delicious, you could taste the peanut butter and jam! Ordered the War Pig and Beet Down burgers, the beef patties had so much flavour and the buns were perfect softness! The War Pig was just massive, two different types of bacon and crispy onions, so good! The winner for me was the Beet Down though, I loved the Beet relish and the garlic potato patty that was put on the burger, crisp outside but super soft inside! The Drunk Fries use their garlic fries and then all the toppings on top! I don't think I have ever had fries with so much fresh garlic on them and I absolutely loved them! I could smell garlic coming from the kitchen which I loved! The toppings were so generous on the fries down to the last bite! Had to order the Goblin Egg too which was tasty! The portions and quality for the price was excellent, you will not leave hungry! Best burgers in the city for sure! Highly reccomend and I am already planning my next visit here!

My experience was very underwhelming. The restaurant had been hyped up by the exposure and I will forever love supporting local where I can. It was extremely smokey inside which didn't create the best atmosphere. I didn't like the fact they won't do any modifications, how do you handle allergies? The people shouting out the orders came across as extremely rude and if that's what they were going for then it was great but they called our name and before I could even get up the one guy said 'oh I guess no one wants to eat tonight'. The food itself was also very underwhelming. My burger was pretty dry and didn't have much of a taste. The garlic fries were good but it was better when mixed with the poutine which was also mediocre. The one member of our group really enjoyed his toad stool. My milkshake was extremely thick which isn't bad but I couldn't actually get any of it up the straw however my fiance's was fine so I'm sure it's just a mixing issue. Overall it was fine and I'd probably go back but maybe once they've been around a while and figured things out.
