Quesada Burritos & Tacos — Restaurant in Saskatoon

My boyfriend and I are burrito lovers, and this location was once our go-to Quesada. However, over the last few months we've noticed the portionings have become significantly smaller. The portioning of the vegetables is quite disappointing, especially considering the hefty price. The staff are trained to bulk up the burrito with cheaper ingredients, such as lettuce and rice. While this is a common business tactic, biting into a burrito mainly made up of rice isn’t very appetizing. The overall taste of the burritos is decent, but the burritos have gotten noticeably smaller. The large burrito was once very filling and left you satisfied, but lately we tend to leave the restaurant still hungry and feeling like our money could have been better spent elsewhere. We visited the Stonegate location a few days after our experience here. I swear when I say that my boyfriend's regular burrito at Stonegate's location was bigger than the large burrito in Sutherland. This is not an attack towards any specific staff. Most likely, it's simply how management trains their employees. The bottom line is, the burritos are beginning to no longer be worth your dollar.

Additionally, we recently stopped by for lunch. To our surprise, we were turned away at 12:00 pm by two staff members, claiming they were both "on break", despite the fact that the restaurant had opened its doors only an hour prior to our visit. Being turned away during prime lunch time does not sound like proper business practice not only from a financial perspective, but from a customer service outlook as well. I've never been turned away during opening hours of a restaurant, nor have I heard of two employees taking a break at the same time during one of the busiest hours of the day. Quesada Burritos & Tacos is the best fast food joint in this area.

The restaurant seating area and the washrooms are always nice and clean. I was able to sit down at a table without a single grease stain. The bathrooms are very clean especually for a Quesada joint in the city.

The food tastes amazing. You can have a good sized stuffed burrito or taco with plenty of stuffing that stuffs you up just nice with your choice of spice.

The food is twice as good as pita pit and taco time and the freshness of it is delicious.

I am visiting there every week and always we bring coke or pepsi from outside. Today we ordered rice bowl and we paid for it. So we had done payment we seat there and there is new guy and on girl we had over own coke bottle and he asked us once that you bought it from here or outside and we told him that we bought it from outside then also again he came following us till our car and told us to pay for coke and he think we are fool and we had coke bottle size of 710 mL and that size it not even sold at this location.
