Went to the store to source a part that had gone missing from my BBQ. I spoke with a sales associate named Jim. He recorded what I was looking for and said he would get back to me.
A week went by and I had heard nothing, so I phoned and spoke to Jim. He clearly had forgotten all about it and told me again that he would look into it.
Again I had to follow up because I had not heard from Jim. He told me he found the part code but hadn't found out if he could get it. So again I waited....
And again.. another week went by and I had to follow up myself. Jim tells me he confirmed that he can order the part from his source. (Why did he not call and tell me this??) So, I tell him to order it... he agree's and tells me the part will be here in 3 weeks.
4 weeks later, I phone Jim because I had not heard from him. He tells me that he never heard back from his source as to whether or not they had the part I was looking for.
All this time I had waited and I find out that Jim never ordered the part and suddenly isn't sure if he can get it after he told me 4 weeks ago that he had found it and ordered it.
Horrible customer experience. They displayed a complete lack of interest in helping me.
I contacted the BBQ manufacturer directly and I had the missing part in my hands 4 days later.
AUGUST 15 - UPDATE: Less than a week after I posted the original review, I was contacted by Jim. He told me that "my part had finally arrived". Interesting.
I told Jim that I had found the part myself since he had repeatedly forgotten about me and told me he had ordered the part when he really didn't. Rather than receiving an apology from Jim, he became irritated and defensive. Ironically, he scolded me for not phoning him to tell him that I had found a way to get the part elsewhere.
I am very disappointed with the lack of professionalism by Jim. I really hope that his particular level of service does not reflect that of the whole company. However, I will not be returning...
Read moreI've had a fantastic experience with this store. Our old BBQ slowly turned into a rust bucket that I could no longer trust to cook food in. I came by on a Saturday long weekend to find a replacement. The store was closed, but the owner was just leaving and noticed me approach the door. I was happy to come back when they were open, but the owner insisted on letting me in and showing me around. He did a great job listening to what I wanted and showed me several options that would work. They even saved me a bunch of money by showing how a lower-end model could be upgraded with an accessory to get a feature the higher-end model had.

When we got out camping with the family the one given to us is only half that long. I expected an apologetic attitude with a let’s fix our mistake, but instead was forced to keep the shorter hose I don’t want. Further he answered the phone while serving us and described his day as ‘hitting his head against the wall.’ We have spent thousands through your business in the past and you chose to stiff us over your mistake on a $40 part.
