Decided to visit this place again with my friends after 1 year ... WORST decision ever. First of all place looked very unsanitary. We ordered samosa chaat, like the many times before we ordered the chaat it has chickpea and gravy, salad, 2 sauces and samosas (usually its very good). This time the chaat looked unedible and there was watery material at the bottom of our plate (which was definitely not gravy from the chickpeas, it looked as if they microwaved frozen chickpeas and dumped them on our plate), further more there was no salad on it or the sweet sauce. We asked them if we could fix the chaat for us and instead of making a new one they used the samosas from our last chaat and put it in a new plate.... Then when the rest of our food arrived. The chicken (from chicken Tikka Masala) tasted like rubber no way did it look or taste like chicken. Furthermore I found hair in mine i thought it might been mine so i ignored it at first but then my friend also found hair in hers and that was the last line. We barely touched our food. We told the server and he acted out in a rude manner. He told us he will take off only 25% (even though we barely ate) and also told us that if you "wanted" a new chaat you should've asked for it (when we did...). We paid 50% ($23) and left. My friend felt nauseous and we all had a stomach ache last night. Not sure if owners have changed or chef but the quality of the restaurant has dropped from 4 to 0 for us. It used to be one of the good pakistani/indian resturants in saskatoon but now its just horrible and I...
Read moreMy partner and I went in at lunch today to celebrate his birthday. We were meaning to catch the tail end of the lunch buffet around 2:30. We had called earlier to see if they had Dal Mahkni, and she said they don’t have it in the lunch buffet but would include it special for us if we came in. Unfortunately the buffet was already taken down When we arrived. However, we did not leave unhappy. We ordered 4 vegetarian mains, loads of naan, saffron rice, and chai. The service was excellent, as, what I think was one of the owners, checked in with us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. I even asked after our meal if we could sneak a Kheer (rice pudding) from the supper buffet that they were just beginning to bring out. Our bill ended up excluding the Kheer, and the Dal Mahkni! She said it was because it was his birthday. The family owners all greeted us as I was paying up, with one of the men shaking my partner’s hand and saying Happy Birthday! It was all in all a really lovely experience. Oh, and the food was absolutely delicious. What a...

Do better. I told my friend “If you ask me to come and eat here for free, I would not do that”. I went home and feared to get aick, although I didnt finish anything I...
