barBURRITO — Restaurant in Saugeen Shores

A couple of weeks ago I was in the Port Elgin location buying dinner for my family & picked up a brochure for their catering dishes. I run a business in the same plaza & thought that we would buy lunch & dinner for our staff today. We called, a few minutes after their opening to order. We were told to call back in 5 minutes. When my assistant mgr. called back & explained that we wanted an order for lunch& another around 5 pm. she was told to email the request. She explained that we do not have public email at the store but would like to place an order over the phone, that we are neighbours in the plaza & would like to keep the business within our 'plaza group'. The person finally, reluctantly said -' okay give it to me & I'll write it down to which she replied - no, sorry. We'll take our business elsewhere. I wish my whole staff could have heard this exchange to hear a great example of horrible customer service. As a new business, with a direct competitor right down the street, I would think that they would be trying harder to gain business. Perhaps this person should take some training in how to please...

Someone mentioned that the staff thinks brown people doesn't need to be greeted, That's absolutely correct because as of now I am in the restaurant. I ordered 1 quesadilla bean and cheese and 1 rice bowl. Employee didn't care to ask if I wanted a sauce on my quesadilla or not, sometimes customer doesn't know the prep methods like they put sauce on the quesadilla or they have options on the side . All in all I ended up having a bean and cheese quesadilla which was bland at best and which I had to eat half with a spoon, because it kept falling out. Fyi this would never happen at any...

I recently visited Bar Burrito, and I had a fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making my visit all the more enjoyable. A special shoutout to Harjot, who went above and beyond to assist me in choosing my meal. His recommendations were spot on, and his warm demeanor made me feel welcome.
