Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House — Restaurant in Saugeen Shores

​My recent visit to Stacked Restaurant was nothing short of phenomenal, earning it a well-deserved five stars! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such warmth and genuine hospitality that instantly set a positive tone for our meal.

​The menu at Stacked is a dream come true for anyone who loves breakfast and brunch, and then some! The options are incredibly diverse, catering to every craving imaginable. I opted for the Chocolat Pancakes, and it exceeded all expectations. The portions were incredibly generous, definitely living up to the "stacked" name, and every bite was bursting with flavor.

​Beyond the fantastic food, the service was impeccable. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations and ensuring our drinks were always refilled. The atmosphere was also wonderfully inviting – lively but not overwhelmingly loud, making it perfect for both a quick bite or a relaxed brunch with friends and family.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I feel compelled to after my experience at Stacked in Port Elgin. First of all, the food was absolutely dreadful. The burger I ordered was overcooked, dry, and barely had any flavour. My partner’s breakfast was bland and tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. For the price, I expected something decent, but this was far from it.

On top of that, the service was appalling. Our server seemed disinterested and was more focused on chatting with coworkers than actually taking care of the tables. When we finally got our food, it was wrong and cold. When we brought it to the attention of the staff, we were met with an eye-roll and no apology, which says a lot about the management there.

Speaking of management, they seemed completely oblivious to the problems happening in the restaurant. The place was understaffed, and you could tell the employees were frustrated and overworked. It’s clear there’s no organization or leadership. I’ve never seen a place run this poorly.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend Stacked to anyone. There are plenty of other great places to eat in Port Elgin, and this isn’t one of them. Save your money...

I've been to this stacked location multiple times. This last visit was the worst experience but the others weren't amazing just very average.

Hostess was very friendly and the greeting and seating was quick and welcoming.

I ordered the Healthy Choice breakfast and my girlfriend got the chicken fingers and fries with a lemonade. The breakfast had a hair in it and had to be sent back. The chicken fingers and fries were subpar.

When the breakfast returned, the egg omelet and turkey bacon were good, but the fruit had 3 pieces of spoil fruit in it.

The ketchup container at the table was covered in a sticky residue. The menu had mold growing in it from lack of cleaning.

The server was friendly and nice.

The atmosphere is not great as this location is very cramped and has an awkward layout.
