Shawerma Plus Port Elgin — Restaurant in Saugeen Shores

2nd UPDATE: uhmmm... downgraded to a 4 today. We've been there 3 times. 1st time was out of this world perfect. 2nd time there was a young lady taking and making the order, and she got the order a little wrong, in that I asked specifically for pickle to be removed, and for turnip to be added, and what I got was pickle in there, without any turnip whatsoever. Ok ok, mistakes happen. We went again today, and this time, oh boy, she made a mistake with the order again, but it wasn't a little mistake this time: yeah the turnip was in there, but there was no tomato, no lettuce, just meat, turnip, and sauce.

We'll give it a go one more time, but honestly... what.the.heck? Please play close attention to what your customers order, thank you.

UPDATE: yeah, this is the place to go to for Shawerma in Saugeen Shores. Based on other reviews saying Osmow's is better, we decided to check it out to compare.

Listen to me: there is no comparison.

Osmow's tastes like a corporate version of a shawerma - bland, boring, blah, whereas Shawerma Plus is actually DELICIOUS with a full mouth-feel. LOVE IT. Will continue to go to Shawerma Plus.

"Wow!" is the word.

Service = excellent. Food quality = excellent. Flavour = excellent. Portion = excellent. Cleanliness = excellent. Energy = excellent.

Seriously. Not a single complaint. All the boxes ticked.

What I mean by energy: y'know how sometimes you eat a meal and even if you don't overeat, doesn't matter what you eat, you feel heavy, and even tired, for no reason? That's what I consider to be not good energy.

My hubby and I each got the chicken shawarma wrap, Arabica style. They were big, and full of sauce as we asked. The energy was clean, and even though we ate a lot, we didn't feel heavy or tired at all.

Stopped in for Chicken Shawerma over rice plate. Food was delicious and piled high in the container the only downside was the wait it took just over half an hour to get my dinner but will still be back because the Shawerma was bomb!

UPDATE: Stopped in for their lunch special, Chicken Shawerma is still delicious and the service is on point now! Will definitely be back!

UPDATE 1/9/25: Stopped in today for 2 lunch plates and a wrap, the wrap was great, the shawerma plates had no veggies on them even though I asked for everything, a little disappointed it was still tasty but definitely missed the...
