Country Style — Restaurant in Sault Ste. Marie

Great Coffee and sandwiches. The store is always clean and the staff always helpful. Free WiFi. Plenty of convenient parking and an outdoor seating area. A very nice ambiance in the store , with traditional table and chairs, long table arrangement for larger groups, sofa/arm chair/ stuffed chairs around a table, and of course the table for two set up for more private conversations. There are TV's and newspapers but the volumes on the TVs are set to low so as not to distract the patrons. As well, there is a drive through. The place appears to be poorly managed as there is seldom enough staff to keep up with the rush of the drive through, sandwich preparation, busing the tables, during the busy times. Perhaps the management/ ownership of the store does not take the same pride in the place that the workers do. A dental plan would be a noticeable benefit to...

Donuts/muffins are fresh and fluffy, coffee rich ( They have dark roast), and the staff has always greeted us with a smile. I adore meeting friends here for a sit down chat. They have an espresso machine now too for making lattes! Stop in and give them a try.

Edit:1 year later: Still all true and they have such a loving staff! Today I couldn't even leave my dark room due to a migraine, espresso tends to help ease these. I placed an order on skip and requested a very espresso heavy iced cap expecting less iced cap to make up for the extra cost... instead I got what I asked for an this sweet little note.( see photo) Thank you so much for being a part of this community. I went drive thru at 5:30 pm April 29th and the young gentleman taking my order was less than friendly bordering on blatantly rude..no hi, just 'what can I get you' then 'pull up' and when he gave me my coffee ..I said thank you and he just turned away...didn't say a word..I sat at the window hoping he'd come back so I could tell him how rude he was but he never came back so if my coffee wasn't right or I needed a napkin...too bad I guess. I also work at a much busier drive thru than this and I wouldn't dream of being that way with customers...First impressions are very important...
