Subway — Restaurant in Sault Ste. Marie

Very disappointed.. poor staff. The kid first tells us we can't have our sandwiches toated because the buns just came out of the oven, and if they toast them they will burn. Ok. That's no problem. Then i ask for double meatballs..the kid says huh.. what i repeat..double meatballs please.. again the kid says huh what.. my bf says loudly she wants double meatballs please. Ok all good now or so we think.. wrong.. then i ask for double cheese.. the kid puts one set of cheese. I repeat double cheese please.. the kid responded ohh okay.. then he asks if i wanted it toasted.. ??im confused.. he just said they can't be toasted.. i told him no thank you i don't want it burnt.. so then he begins to try and fold it to cut it. Well the cheese falls out and i watch him literally jam the cheese back in with his fingers, breaking the cheese into pieces, then proceeds to squish the centre of my sub to cut it in half, again the cheese starts falling out... i watch him again ram the cheese into the sub squishing the bun even more .. i can see finger dents in my bread around the meatballs.. at this point my stomach has all it can take as i watch him mangle my soon to be food.. i can't it anymore and tell him.. im sorry but im not paying for that..you destroyed my sub. I do not want that so called sub. I left disappointed, hungry... better yet i left there very HANGRY. I will never return to this subway...

I don’t know from where should I start I work myself on food industry and I understand sometime it might be messy but this place is totally unhygienic. They almost put my sub on the shelf the white sheet is just to show and ya the gloves ! Well I feel no difference before and after changing the gloves and my sub ,I literally having craving ,that’s why I visited today but he over toast my bread ! Seriously I am just like at least something go good . This is the horrible subway location I ever seen . It’s not like my first time it’s nearby my home that’s why I used to came but every time they disappoint or I can say surprised me with something new horrible things and that’s my last time visited...

10\10 for us! The location never seams to let us down. The staff are always above and beyond amazing, the tables are clean the bathrooms are clean (2&3 year old we trust them potties) the subs here are the best in the city! They do everything they can to make your food to EXACT as you request and we all know that’s hard to find in a generic sub shop now. I’m in Goulais River and pass multiple locations just to come to this one! I’d say the Subway Hunny Hole of the Soo. We love you guys keep up the great sandwich art!!...
