Pizza Villa & Pasta House — Restaurant in Selwyn

My 1 star review is not a reflection of the quality of the food at this place, but a reflection of how absolutely pathetic their service is, and has always been. They charge more than any pizza place I've ever been, but that is not my issue with them - they are often very rude, and just don't appear to care that they are rude. Today was the last time they will ever see me. After calling in my order I was told our pizzas would be ready in 30 minutes - I arrived after 40 because it's almost never ready when they say it will be. After I sat waiting for 10 minutes, I asked how much longer it would be, and was told 10 more minutes. So they told us it would be 30 minutes, and it turned out it was going to be ANOTHER 30 after that. When it was clear I was unhappy about this, they didn't offer me any discounts (any other place would have offered me the pizzas AND my money back), just gave me my money back when I asked for it (which did surprise me, as I expected them to refuse) and I left. Never to return. If you don't mind handing money to people that couldn't give a damn about their customers, by all means use this joint. If you believe service is important, avoid it like the bubonic plague.

Edit - just saw the place's reply. When I was halfway out the door after getting my money back I was asked if I wanted whatever pizza was ready to go. Since mine wasn't ready, I wasn't taking anyone else's pizza so they could be as upset as well. And they did offer to deliver the pizzas, but since I'd then have had to pay for them after being so inconvenienced, I refused since I don't want to give them any money. I'm...

Bridgenorth, On. (near Peterborough) I highly recommend this place! Nestled on the shores of Lake Chemong in the village of Bridgenorth there is a real gem of a restaurant, perhaps more of a kitchen called Pizza Villa. I have been stopping in there every time I am down this way. Owned and operated by a very friendly Greek gentleman by the name of “Kosta” and his staff of cooks and other employees for over 20 years in business they have earned the 4 out of 5 and 5 out of 5 stars they get. Don’t be fool by the name Sa Pizza Villa serves a lot more than just delicious pizza. From burgers to wings to an array of Italian cuisine everything is homemade and delicious. I love salads and swear that they make the best Greek and Ceaser salads I have ever had in any restaurant in Canada and I have had hundreds. They even bake their own delicious deserts. Pizza Villa is located at 846 Ward St. Bridgenorth, across from the Shell gas station. Just Google this place and read the reviews...

My former husband and his family have been stopping at this place for many years whenever we have to go to Peterborough far almost any reason.

The guys have a thing for the huge panserottis made. The place is family run and they remember good customers by including something extra at times for n/c.

My family has had a lot of memories of taking my father-in-law to eat there. The place is one of the last restaurants that Pop really enjoyed before he died

It's clean with good and easily accessible parking and seats for eat-in or take out. In addition to the pizzas and fish and chips, he offers a huge healthy salad. The small Cesar salad is huge!! They carry Greek dessert like baklava and ice cream.

Right on the main drag...and better service in my opinion than Timmy's...
