We dined here with 25 of our extended family for a special night together. We were seated together away from the other guests, which was very nice. The waitresses serving us were lovely but could have a been a bit more attentive to the empty glasses. Appetizers came in a timely manner but our mains were not served until two hours or more after we were seated, at which time the young ones were getting quite exasperated and one family had to leave. We had booked for 5:30 to accommodate the young ones. If only the food exceeded our expectations that would have placated us. By and large, the portion sizes were small for the prices, and they were not that great. For example, a pork loin dish came with just a pork loin - no side of vegetable or a carb. The bean soup lacked flavor. The steak ($56) came with a small portion of very basic boiled potatoes and butter and no side of vegetable. The chicken dish had a very small portion of chicken. The farmer’s salad was very good in flavour and quantity. A free dessert or an apology for the delay would have been welcomed. Several in our party cancelled their reservations for dinner the following evening due to this experience. I hope that the menu and kitchen are on their way to a better...
Read moreWe had the pleasure of attending what I believe was Rawley/Lighthouse45 Restaurant’s first-ever Comedy Night on Saturday, March 29, 2025. The evening began with a menu offering a solid selection of dishes, and my wife and I both enjoyed the outstanding house-smoked prime rib dinner. It was served with perfectly prepared seasonal vegetables and house-made Yorkshire pudding — all beautifully paired with a great bottle of wine. It set the perfect tone for a night of laughs.
The comedians, Jay Allen and Patrick Haye, had us laughing from beginning to end — a truly fantastic show. Rawley, please keep these types of events coming!
Thank you to Patrick (manager at Rawley), Danielle (our warm and attentive server), the executive chef, and the entire back-of-house team for delivering such a memorable experience.
On our recent visits to Lighthouse45, we’ve noticed a real step forward — both in the kitchen and front of house — in terms of elevating the overall experience, from the quality of service to the attention to detail in each dish.
A special call-out to the chefs: please continue along this path. You can truly taste the fresh ingredients and thoughtful preparation...
Read moreMy family and I spent a week in Port Severn and decided to try out the Lighthouse45 restaurant. I typically do not write bad reviews but from the moment we walked in, the experience was awful. We arrived at 4:30pm for our reservation and we were sat at a dirty table with bits of lint all over table. We noticed at least 3 other tables around us with comfy seats but we were seated at the table with hard seats. We also had to wait for additional plates, glass, cutlery and chairs for our party of six. The restaurant was not busy at this time so I was confused as to why it was so unorganized. We ordered two drinks: a long island ice tea and margarita which tasted horrible. Our waitress disappeared for over 15 minutes and I had to walk up to bar to ask for ketchup for my child's french fries which now has turned cold. My husband's pork masala dinner came with hair in his pork masala. When we told the waitress, she did not offer to remake it or even apologize for it. On top of all this, windows were being cleaned during the prime time for dinner. For the pricing of the menu, I expected better service and food/drink quality. We will not be...
