Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Shediac

What an experience we had at Shediac Dairy Queen. Ordered 2 Blizzard's Large, paid and and stepped aside and waited. My girlfriend pointed out you get the the 2nd one free or $1.99 So went back up and asked about it. Showed my receipt, without saying anything he turned to get the manager. Manager fixed it up but also not very friendly, while doing it. I didn't get anyone's name but wish I would have now. So I'm waiting for my Blizzards, I see them sitting in a cooler shelf but no one bringing them to us. Finally I got the attention of the guy that was running the front, and asked for my Blizzards. He picks they up and the ice cream running down the side. I looked at him and said, what I'm I suppose to do with that? Instead of whipping them down, he handed me napkins. His job was done, I guess. I even said for a joke I guess your not going to turn them upside down, like they're supposed to. March 27 Sunday @ 2:02pm received them at 2:14pm good job it wasn't busy. So you might want to think twice before you go to this Diary Queen in Shediac NB. All I have to say is WOW. I hope the owner reads this and looks at there video cameras . You have the time marked above. This place needs better training or something. Right next store is an ice cream place. I'll be going...

The new store is beautiful and the customer service is new and improved also 😉. I used to really hate coming to the Shediac location because I always had so many issues (wrong order, overcharged, rude service). But I have gone through the drive thru that had multiple cars quite a few times in a row and it was significantly quicker and they truly friendly staff compared to before. I also went inside to order so I could see it, and WOW! they even have a seat for people who can't stand while they wait 😁👌. Was very pleased to see that an older man who wasn't able to stand very well was able to take a seat. And again, there were probably 4 people in front of me in line when I was ordering and I got in and out within minutes and everyone waiting for larger orders before me got their meals in a timely fashion. The tables and seating is also much better now and the layout looks very appealing. They also have those red "Muskoka" chairs outside in the front and it's well shaded in the afternoon because they're against the building. Unlike the old outdoor seating where the sun was always in your eyes.

Overall, this Dairy Queen has improved ten fold! Thank you to everyone who made(construction workers and all) and make this location...

First time eating "in" and first time in the rebuilt store. Food was great and since I totally LOVE me and ice cream cake and blizzards, I've recently become one of the many with lactose issues and have been heart broken so it was a great delight when I was told you've got a small treat ie. the Dillybar, not the same as your cakes or blizzards but yum! Like the new layout and design. We were however quite shocked how no one but us were wearing our masks except while eating. I know the mask mandate has been lifted but the covid cases have continued to increase since the Omincron variant hit..I know my wife and I would be devastated if we picked up covid (even with 3 shots of vaccine) and passed it on to someone else or to a family member (some already with health issues).. and there was a death as a result.. before all the haters of mask wearing read this and reply aggressively, please don't.. for us it's simply put we still wear the mask not for our health yet for the health of loved ones and others, as a community, we're not clear of this yet and with a little hope and time,...
