COCO LOCO King Est — Restaurant in Sherbrooke

Hope the owner/manager will swiftly go the way of taking less clients and actually serve the ones they bring in properly. They lack employees and it greatly shows...

Both staff that served us were nice and got seated quite fast, but that's about it, nothing goodafter that.

Took a loooong time just to get the menus, nobody came, had to ask the hostess, which then also brought a single pot of coffee, that wasn't that really hot to begin with, and that we served ourselves for the entire sitting. It was half cold when we finally got our food and never got more.

Again super long time to get the order taken. Extremely long to get the food.

When it finally came, cooking wasn't as requested, clearly stayed too long under the warmer, and missing multiple items (multiple that were actually part of the chosen meal as well as the extra requested) which never showed. Waitress vanished super fast, obviously busy. Never came back, never asked if it was alright/needed something else, no more coffee.

Could go on with other unpleasing details, but that's already turning to a novel...

Time to get the receipt was ok, but then again, super long to actually pay. Overpaid with whatever bills I had on me just so we could go...

In terms of the many various breakfast places that are available in the sherbrook area, this one and their sister location on the other side of Sherbrooke are definitely my favorite. I personally get the Philly cheesesteak omelette most of the time, as well as something from their mimosa bar selection. They always have a nice selection of lunch specials as well. The only downside is that sometimes the service is slow and very rarely, but it does happen is the service is extremely slow. I would say the quality of the food makes up for it and on the rare times there is any sort of wait time, it is usually only 10 minutes...

*EDIT See below Several items from the menu weren’t available. It took 40 minutes to order. There wasn’t any AC and it was melting hot. The kids plate were wayyyyyy too big. Otherwise the food was good.
