I am VERY disappointed with the Salvatore operating on King Ouest in Sherbrooke, Quebec. After MULTIPLE calls asking where the pizza was past an hour of waiting and told repeatedly, it will be there shortly, only to arrive a whole TWO hours after ordering and refusing to give the pizza free of charge due to it being so late and cold. To specify, we called after an hour, then at the hour and a half mark. It took 3 calls for the pizza to finally get to my address, barely 15 minutes drive away from this restaurant.
The delivery guy then proceeded to lie to his boss saying I insulted him, which did not even happen. I reached a boiling point and told him "Vous avez perdu du service, allez donc chier." when he walked away and got back in his car with the pizza. That was the most impolite I was during our interaction. I was demanding, but not insulting. His refusal and then request that I hang up when I called another time to discuss this issue and demand the pizza free of charge from his boss. He then decided to simply text, hiding his phone then said. "desole, je ne peux pas te donner la pizza" and turned around and jogged back in his car, texted for a while, then drove off. I should also add that he went to the wrong door, making me run around the whole building just trying to find him.
I was then offered free condiments on my next order as an apology by the apparent manager of that restaurant. How does free condiments qualify making 2 pregnant women wait TWO WHOLE HOURS for a COLD MEDIUM HALF PEPPERONI, HALF ALL DRESSED PIZZA. I'm am beyond furious and will never consider Salvatore as a restaurant to order with. I don't want to wait TWO HOURS for a SINLGE MEDIUM PIZZA.
Their excuses of having a busy night and having only one delivery guy on service is weak, especially when the manager said everything was going chill before we ordered. There are 3 of their restaurants in this city to divvy up the area needed to cover and stay in a manageable time frame. TWO HOURS is not a manageable time frame to deliver a pizza. Refusing to give the pizza and then offering free condiments as an excuse for this situation at this point is a spit in the face of the client who you already exasperated their patience a long time ago.
Small update, we received an email offering 10$ off the next order. This is, in my opinion, still meager an apology for a TWO HOUR LATE 20$ cold soggy pizza you ended up refusing to give. Any other pizza restaurant would've offered in free as an apology for being so late.
I really hope that there is revision within the management of this restaurant. This wait was ridiculous and the excuses and 'peace offerings' were meager and ill befitting of the whole issue. I would never gotten so upset if we hadn't needed to call MULTIPLE TIMES and been told every time that it will be delivered shortly. An hour after the first call is NOT SHORTLY... Attend et attend 50min plus tard sois 3:05 h après ma première appelle croyez le ou non le livreur arrive... pauvre lui.....je lui donne 6$ pour son tip et lui dit que je refuse de payé et qui dise a son bosse que ça pas d'allure. 5nin plus tard pendant que je mange enfin.. .le téléphone sonne et la c'est le restaurant qui me menace d'appeler la police et que je serai bloqué....wow c'est beau refais rentrer le livreur... paye le foutu repas ... Comment ça vous coûte sibole faire 2 poutines peut-être 10$....vous menacé des clients et un fidèle client qui mangeais la a chaque semaines..... pour 10$....décevant en crisse pas bessoin de me mettre sur la black liste ou jamais je vais rappeler la désolé pour la pub ...mes le restaurant je n'ai rien a lui reprocher très bon et bon service sur place...

I was visiting family and we decided on having pizza. We ordered 2 pizzas, 2 sides of chicken wings, and a poutine. We went to pick it up and were handed 1 pizza box and a very light bag. We asked right away where the 2nd pizza was, the girl in the front got her manager. The manager was rude, handed the second pizza and when we asked about the bag, she said, "I can assure you, everything is in there." We got home, and we were missing 2 items. We called, and were on hold for 20 mins. We hung up.
