Great place to go for drinks with friends. I’ve always liked the ambience. The food is very good and it offers a nice enough variety. The cocktails are very good too and they are open to others not on the menu. Service has always been the element to improve. Last time there it was for a friends birthday. I asked the waitress if there was any treat for BDs, she said there was a cake. After the last round of drinks my friend had to leave and since we were not ordering anything else she brought the bill. I tried to remind her about the cake she had mentioned earlier, but she was more in a hurry to close the table than to listen to what I had to say. Then, I asked if two of us could stay and order something else, to what she replied it had to be with another waitress because she was leaving. We waited at the table, but nobody else came to our table. We decided to leave and on our way out there she was chatting with...

Cool looking restaurant and bar with delicious food and a plethora of drinks. Good music played by a DJ to elevate the mood as well.

I ordered the ribs and changed my fries into a poutine with a side salad and boy was it exquisite. I'm a bit of a poutine connoisseur and this place gets a 9/10 at least. The fries are thin, crispy and well seasoned, which just enriches the poutine experience. The ribs were melt off the bone and coated in a savory sauce.

Shakers is also a mixology, so it offers plenty of drink choices. I had sips of 5 different drinks and they were all super delicious with a decent amount of liquor.

The place has a very club atmosphere to it, so be aware that it'll get loud. Hard to talk to someone 4 seats away from you without yelling. Definitely not the place to go to for a quiet dinner, but do go for a fun one...

Small portions, mediocre food, and too focused on form isntead of function.

First off the restaurant is well decorated and nice. I can imagine this place being quite busy in the evenings.

But when we talk about the food this place is way over priced. I ordered a $20 burger. The patty was small and overcooked, almost impossible not to over cook at this size. It is served on the tiniest of cutting board. Size of fries. All was underseasoned and mediocre.

The whole place is form over function. If you sit at the bar you can see the big screen tvs as they as directly over you. Serving food on a small cutting board makes a mess.
