Valentine — Restaurant in Sherbrooke

As my boyfriend and I got in valentine an old couple told the workers that they would come back in an hour because the food service was too slow, the woman in front of us left also because of the slow service. We ordered two hot dogs, fries, cheese burger and two beverages. There was only one client in front of us and two in the back of us. There were two workers, one that was wearing sunglasses looking very unprofessional and the other one not able to talk French, so he couldn’t serve the clients who only talked French. Our food took over 20 minutes to get ready with only 4 clients inside the store (including us). The worker gave me my cheese burger with nothing in it, as nobody asked me what I wanted in it. Also our order got mixed up because the worker at the cash register put the small paper with our order on it the corner so he forgot about it. (We weren’t the only ones having a bad experience in the store). After we could see one of the workers on his phone and leaning against the counter. Even if the worker told us he was sorry about the service they gave us, we are still upset about the service we received and will not return to...

Okay, I've only had their poutine and fries and onion rings but here's my opinion. The beef tastes uncooked or more bloody like in the poutine, and sausages taste disgusting in my opinion. I don't like sausages in general unless it's the all beef ones from Costco lol. But hey, I know a lot of people who'd say the opposite. It's edible, but not my go too ahah. But hey, the fries and onion rings are so flipping mouth watering. They are so flipping good!!!!!! I'd say the employees are generally nice but occasionally a little impatient and rude, but you know what, that's fine. I understand them fully. Other than that, their cheese curds aren't the best but they're fine. Not always squeaky but what I like is that the cheese isn't cold. That's a big plus lol. July 25 2024. Went for breakfast at 9am. No muffins, no bagles, no hashbrowns, Not one piece of fruit on the plate. (As it shows in the advertisement on the menu, so false advertising) and no knowledgeable or friendly service from the one person working there who I don't think understood English very well. Had to ask for everything, nothing provided at the table like napkins, cream, sugar, jam, salt etc. Everything was at the counter but the napkin holder was empty and only a few sparce packets of sugar and jam. Had to search for a table that didn't have greasy marks. Should have taken a clue from there not being anyone else there.
