Basha Donair & Shawarma — Restaurant in Sherwood Park

We very disappointed in the location and what we received for my meal. We ordered through door dash, they had a 2 for 1 deal with fries for $20, ordered 3 drinks 2 lime and one mandarin, we received 1 lime 1 cola and 1 mandarin, The crispy fries ? extremely greasy, not even close to crispy, the donair, I think there was sauce in it maybe a drop or two but not what should be on it, there was barely any lettuce, I think I got maybe 3 small pieces of tomato, and no onion, Maybe it’s because I ordered through a delivery service as I could not go in, but this makes me not want to go in for sure, if this is what they are serving.

I see that on all orders through the delivery services have bad reviews and the response is the same blame them. This is so false, you do bad food for them face the facts. If it’s a dine in customer they get ok food, if it’s a service it’s sub par if best. If you want customers to come to your location then give the same quality and care into every orders. I recently visited Basha Donair & Shawarma, and I must say, it was an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavors.

The Beef Donair was perfectly seasoned, tender, and juicy, with just the right balance of spices. The garlic sauce and sweet sauce complemented the meat beautifully, making every bite incredibly satisfying.

The Chicken Shawarma was equally fantastic—well-marinated, grilled to perfection, and served in a warm pita with fresh vegetables and flavorful sauces. It had a wonderful smoky taste and was very filling.

Beyond the food, the customer service was outstanding. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and quick to prepare the order. They made sure everything was just right and provided a great dining experience.

I came to sherwood park to visit my family and was craving a late night donair, this is hard to for me to say as I'm a huge fan of one of the other rival donair shops in sherwood park, but this was of the BEST donair I've ever had!

The meat to veggie ratio was perfect, the cheese was nice and melty in my short trip home, the very friendly staff explained to me their process for how they pickle their toppings, which by the way are all amazing and the perfect combination of salty and sour! I got mine loaded with all of the pickled goodies, lettuce, their red onion mix, and jalapeño, hot chili paste, tzatziki, a sprinkle of feta...
