Absolutely a bad experience. This boston pizza is my go to location as its close by and usually has good service and food. Being in the restaurant business, I know that customer service is a priority alongside the food. I had ordered food for pick up and when I arrived, the dining room was empty aside from 1 table. This was around 830. I waited patiently at the front while the male server was busy at the terminal. I then decided after 5 minutes I would try to get his attention. Now he was young and seemed to be alone. But after 5 mins I tried to call him, so I went to the dining room and yelled out "Hey!" "Hello" and "Excuse me" to no avail.
Only after he finally saw me waving my hands erratically and yelling Hi Hi Hi, he said one minute. When he finally come to the front and I informed him Id been waiting and trying to get his attention for so long. No apology or any acknowledgment. Just business as usual.
I think some kind of system needs to be put in place to overcome the blind spot at the front counter. Yes, I saw the mirror on the ceiling, but for that to work one must be diligent in monitoring it. Now my restaurants get really busy, but we are always vigilant in watching the front counter.
Perhaps the manager can re-train the young lad at the front and existing staff on multi-tasking. Also, the food was ready and waiting for me in the heating cabinet. Next time Ill wait in the designated parking pickup stall and not waste my time going to the counter. I didnt want anyone to get cold so I thought it would be easier on staff if I came inside.

No one was there yet so no clue why everything was in slow motion. Anyways, the cactus cuts came wayy overcooked and burnt. Had to flag down a waitress to get it fixed . It was charred. so gross. The waitress we flagged down wasn't happy she came to the table . Bubble Blondie said "sup" or "what's up" couldn't hear over the negative stuck up tone. Asked if we could exchange these as they were over cooked and burnt. Yes im repeating myself. She said, IN SUCH a gross way "oh you didn't order them well done " since WHEN in the last 3 years, I have been ordering them, can you " request" well done? "Yeah yeah will get it fixed" then they came back soggey and undercooked. What is that to you? Rare? Seriously. It's not a steak . Gave up then and there. Our main waitress with glasses, no idea what her name was, kept getting our drinks wrong and had the personality of a tree trunk. Didnt know where she was half of the time. She didn't even speak when she hovered over waiting for us to pay . My husband still tipped over 25% because he felt bad for the chef NOT the waitresses. After glasses saw the tip, it was the ONLY time our waitress had a smile.
