Waffle House Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Sherwood Park

The food here was excellent. Had bad experience with staff though. I had 3 beers while eating. The second one went warm while I was enjoying the food. So, I started drinking my 3rd one, cause it was cold. No biggie huh?, I mean, I'm paying for it, so i guess its my beeswax?. I had drinks before I got to this place and on my 3rd beer I got kinda drunk off it. So....I couldnt finish it because I was there cause I was starving. Bartender asks, you only drink the tops from bottles??.... Way said, made it sound like I'm some kind of arrogant spendthrift, that's too good to drink anything below half a bottle... I mean say what???. I dont know if this sounds unto others like it did unto me, maybe you had to be there kinda thing?. That, was really rude. I mean, one, who cares? Two, it's my beer anyway Three, I thought bartenders were supposed to bring in customers, not drive them away by thinking they can treat people like however they want.

You know, c-u-s-t-o-m-e-r s-e-r-v-I-c-e industry.

I wont be coming back here, or anyplace that treats people...

Not sure about all these awesome reviews. Our experience was not that great. Food was disappointing - the AYCE section consists of fries, mash potato, nachos, salad, and chicken noodle soup. Three options of main course, chicken (a drumstick), beef ribs (about 2 "big" ribs), and pork ribs (about half a rack) for around $25/person. Don't even get me started with the lukewarm, microwaved frozen veggies that's on the plate. They even asked us if we wanted dessert at the end!? Not going back again that's for sure and I won't be recommending this restaurant. Is this a one off? Maybe...but I highly doubt it. Is it because they weren't expecting a lot of customers that evening - Game 4 of the Oilers' Finals? But still... Call before you go and ask them what they have in their AYCE section, the video that's posted on social media and the actual product was NOT the same. I didn't even bother taking a picture - wish I could have to show you all what...

Cute little corner with a comfy atmosphere! Had lunch here with my grandparents and the vibes were lovely ☺️

Very warm and inviting staff! Whoever was the waitress that served us was super kind! I seen her indulge in light silly conversation with some older folk who were having a get together near us, which certainly made the place very warm feeling. Super sweet lady 😊

Food was delicious, and I’m always a happy camper when a place that serves breakfast serves me plenty of bacon that’s not just two or three strips 😇. Eggs were cooked to perfection! No slimy tops, and perfectly gooey yolk. Heavenly! Bonus points for the shredded hash browns not being dry!

I didn’t order waffles but my grandmother did and she let me have a bite; it was very good! Certainly living up to their name. I’ll definitely order waffles here if I get the...
