We stayed a night in the Prestige Oceanfront Resort...Island Tarts is in their lobby. What an absolutely wonderful experience! Yesterday afternoon, my wife and I both had prosciutto and brie paninis...fabulous! This morning, I had a ham, brie and tomato croissant, done in the panini press, and a ham, cheese and onion quiche that was, hands down, the best quiche I have ever eaten. I had lattes both days, and they were perfect. The tables look out on the rest of the lobby, and we were thrilled that our dogs were able to sit with us while we people-watched and savoured our delicious meals. My mom and I stopped in for coffees yesterday and we ended up walking away with our coffees and two of their Double Double Tartlet. We were advised to let the tarts sit at room temp for 20 minutes before consuming and it was worth the wait! I completely forgot to take a picture so I guess I'll just have to go back!
