Our family had been going to this restaurant for years. Unfortunately, we are no longer enthused to go. Because of bad service at another restaurant across the street, our party of 3 went to have dinner here. It started off well enough. The service was accommodating. We got to sit out on patio after a recent rain. We were served our drinks well. Then, I got served my meal. Shortly after, my dad got served his meal. My daughter had not received her meal yet, so we patiently waited before starting our meals. After 5 minutes, I started sharing some of my meal with my daughter while she waited. My dad and I ate ever so slowly. After 15 minutes, I got up and walked into restaurant to ask where my daughter's meal was.?? It was discovered that her order was never entered into the system! I immediately re-ordered her meal. When it eventually came to her, it was not even a meal. It was just four pieces of lemon chicken with nothing else! The miscommunication that happened with the staff there was very disappointing. It was an especially unpleasant experience for my daughter. I was astounded that we got no compensation for their mistake. I was charged full price for my daughter's food. Courtesy was lacking in the situation. They did not seem to care much, for the major inconvenience to us. The only way in which they tried to compensate was by giving us each, one extra fortune cookie! We threw them out at home. They were...

A nice, clean, Chinese-Canadian restaurant, the proprietors seemed friendly, and the service was prompt. The food was also decent, I had a very tasty Singapore rice noodle, and was pleasantly surprised that they used real BBQ char siu, instead of doing what so many other small town Chinese restaurants do by cheating with diced up porkchop. On the other hand, their pad thai was disappointing, bland, and they tried to cover up the lack of that authentic sweet/sour/savoury taste by using copious amounts of chili sauce. Maybe some ingredients like tamarind and fish sauce are hard to come by in Wiarton, but that dish certainly let them down, and in my opinion, shouldn't be on the menu. I did appreciate that they allowed substitutions to turn some of their dishes vegetarian. Overall, it was decent value, portion sizes, and flavour...

Had a great experience. Great indoor and outdoor space. The indoor space kinda blew me away, as it's very bright (not what you expect an inn to be like - in a good way). Really good staff, and the food came in good time. The dishes were good, visited 2x before deciding to rate to make sure both times the experience warranted the stars - and it did. The fried banana dessert was a nice addition to a full belly, and hit that fried but creamy craving we had. It's nice that the menu had a few vegetable options, and especially now to have some tofu dishes. My partner really loved the pepper beef dish and had it both times. I loved the Szechuan veggie dish (not very spicy but packed with flavor).

We had a wonderful dinner at Wiarton Inn Restaurant & Bar! Everything was incredibly delicious, and the staff were so kind and welcoming. They even brought water and were very sweet to our dog, which we really appreciated. It’s a shame we live far away, because this place won our hearts from the very first visit. We tried the Pad Thai, Bento Box D, mango bubble tea, and chicken balls. The seafood in the dishes was especially tasty — the shrimp were large and perfectly cooked. We highly recommend this place and will definitely stop by again whenever we’re passing through!

Went on a dinner with friends during our trip to Bruce Peninsula. The food quantity is not upto the mark and taste is below average. One dish that particularly blew our mind was Schewan shrimp. This dish had very less shrimps and tons of uncooked broccoli which we weren't told of in the 1st place. Highly disappointed and had subway after. Soups were below average taste as well. Hot and sour tasted like tomato soup and egg drop soup was boiled water with egg and raw mushrooms in it. Not worth wasting money here
