This place was rated very well compared to other but the rating seems to be a result of strong local support and not a reflection of quality. I ordered potatoe skins to start. I had asked if they were peelings or wedges. I was told peeling which is what I wanted. What I got was loaded baked potatoes half scooped out and filled with "stuff". If you google potatoe skins this is what you will find but its not true skins now is it.... for my meal I ordered the meat loaf. Hard to screw up right? Well, when it came smothered in a barbeque sauce I knew there would be trouble. Good meatloaf need not be insulted with condiments but this one was dry and tasteless. It needed BBQ sauce desperately. I could not bear to try and suffer through dessert at this point. My stay was done, I won't return. Aside from the quality, the portions were small for the price. My meat loaf cost 18 bucks. A 2 piece fish and chips will set you back 21 bucks. They should be thankful the server score them a star or they would be sitting at the...

I wasn't too put off by that but you're clearly not high priority for the wait staff out there and there was no salt, pepper, ketchup on the tables - nada. And if you have to use the washroom? Walk off the deck around the front of the building and into it then back into the restaurant to use be washroom. Then in reverse to get back to the patio.
I Ordered steak. It was just ok but the keg has nothing to worry about. The steak was reasonably priced but my table mates seemed to get a little rooked on prices. $18 for what was alleged to be a pound of generic wings, $16 for a smallish burger with a sprinkling of fries.
It may have been a better service experience in the restaurant proper.
I liked that they literally bolted the patio tablet to the deck - it was windy and it the table was rock solid and stable.
Overall, it's ok and of your choices in morrisburg it's probably...
Read moreWe had supper there recently and were very disappointed. It was expensive for the quality of food that was served. My granddaughter ordered a chicken dish and it had not been cooked through properly. They had a buffet that night but when we looked at the offerings we all decided to pass on it. The desserts looked good but that was it for the buffet. None of us enjoyed our food. We were 7 people. We ate there 2 years ago and it was fine then. The manager did apologize for the uncooked chicken and did not charge for her meal. Will never suggest eating there...
